  • $10 may be worth a try. still average value tbh and no feel bad if miss out. line is massive. don't get if some people gang up so early line up in groups just for it though

  • Papparich quality goes up and down.

I get the veg curry mutton and some places give very small amount of gravy and small amount of veg mutton pieces (barely enough to cover the rice).

Its overall….meh, there are frozen meals which can almost do the same that papparich do.

  • PapaRich isn't worth $10 IMO. Terrible.

  • +2

In opposition to all the negative comments, I live close to one of their stores and had the nasi lemak there 20+ times. In this economy, it's 100% worth the $10.

  • They closed the majority of the branches. None near my place :(

  • Big lines that don't move and can't order online.

  • +2

Yep lines are like 30mins wait and no chance for a seat if you’re at a smaller venue

There’s 15% ShopBack which brings down the price further (in store payment)

    • My local didn’t show the QR code for the ShopPay

  • Canberra civic store ran out of the Nasi lemak rice so instead they offered chicken rice

  • +3

Stood in line for over 25 minutes to get a seat, then once we were seated we got told it was an hour long wait to get food

We stood up and left to go to the local Viet place to get a pho for $14.

Very poorly planned and executed promotion

While adding to this, I was waiting for my takeaway order and people who ordered after me got their food first
Seems like there is no sequence and they are prioritising dine in orders first

      • +1

        It was an absolute debacle

When we walked out, there were 30+ people standing in line outside still waiting to place an order or get a table

  • +1

While i don't support their un-organised, but is bound to happen when these promo happens. Not just Papparich.

Agree, you and every donkey in Sydney wants their $10 fix. Memories of Ippudo $10 month Ramean.

Yeah the experience was a bit of a nasty lemak

Went to M City, not much of a queue and not much food for 10 bucks. If there is a queue, give it a big miss, even if there isn't a queue, probably give it a miss as well.

Had the fried chicken it was pretty rubbish

    • Agreed. We also bought curry chicken. Rubbish too. Rice is rubbish, too soggy. Never again. Nanyang Cafe in Glen Waverley is $10 everyday has been quality and taste.

  • Already gone at Macquarie Park

  • Went to the fountain gate one yesterday. Only a few tables were occupied, no service at all. Waitress walked past us like she did not know we were there. $10 was ok, but would not like to go back again. Used to dine in Nunawadding one often with much better experience.

  • Despite clearly stating this was for both dine-in and takeaway, Doncaster are refusing to sell them for takeaway and also limit one per person. This, you find out after lining up for half an hour. Bloody shambles it is.

    • You won't miss anything if you don't get them. Save your money and you can get $10 from Nanyang Kopitiam in Glen Waverley everyday without having to face rude staff in Papparich.

  • Thanks, Op.

Went to Pappa Rich at Gungahlin (ACT) last night (around 8pm) and they were still honouring the promo/deal.

Place was not crowded, service was good and the food were served quickly. The table next to us (4 people) also ordered the same deal.

  • A lot of people in the shop, portion is small but $10 can buy nothing these days. taste is ok, char kway teow is better
