Just wondering which is a better quality toothbrush. Oral B Pro 2000 is on sale for $79 from $200 and the Smart 1 is on sale for $75 from $150>
I thought Pro 2000 was better but I hear conflicting stuff as some people say Smart 1 is better and some people say that the Pro 2000 is better. I would think the Pro 2000 is better due to it's higher RRP.
Also both these models have the better Lithium Battery.

the Smart 1 is (apparently) made in Germany, if you believe the information provided on Amazon listing is correct.

However some comments have noted that the ones sold at Coles supermarket were made in china. So I guess luck of the draw and it's going to depend on the batch / supplier.

Which one do you think is better? Pro 2000 or Smart 1? Or are they basically the same?
For what it’s worth I have a Pro 7000, Pro 1000 and a Smart 1.
The Pro 7000 is the best toothbrush for it’s features but the Smart 1 is an excellent toothbrush. In terms of how clean the teeth feel between the two I can’t really tell unless you go into the various cleaning modes (which I rarely do)
Pro 1000 is garbage compared to those two

From my experiences with them (even though it’s not the Pro 2000 but a model much higher up in the range), I’d get the Smart 1
Smart 1 can do bluetooth smart coaching. I've upgraded to iO which I highly recommend.
Smart 1 sounds like the winner.. has all the exact same functions but 3 cleaning modes instead of 2 and bluetooth. I got it for $60 with ebay plus offer recently.
Just confused on which is the better buy and better quality? Or they both made in Germany? As the Pro 2000 says made in Germany on the shaver shop website but I'm not sure where the Smart 1 is made.
Also please don't think this is due to racism. My parents German made Oral B are still working after so many years and my China made Oral B stopped working after only 3 years.
