New Ducted Air Conditioner Brand

Replacing an existing ME ducted with 4 zone.

We have 3 options for a 10kw.

  1. Daikin FDYAN100A-CV 10.0kW Single
  2. Mitsubishi Electric PEA-M100HAA / PUZ-M100VKA-A.TH
  3. Fujitsu-High Static Single Phase – Compact – 10.00kW Cooling 12.50kW Heating

with Myair touch 4 zones

Which of these are the best when it comes to quality and service/parts?

    lol

I'm sure there will be an OzB'er or 3 that have had experience with all 3 ducted systems commenting

Tubs reckons Fujitsu is Australia's favourite air, maybe that one.

  • I'd rank them in the order you listed.
FYI I consider Myair to be very overpriced. It's nice though.. The brands do have their own touchscreen controllers if you want to save a few thousand dollars.
We got Mitsubishi a few months ago.

  • Which one got the app controls? I get thet.

  • What's wrong with the old one?

  • Mitsubishi-always good

    or

Samsung-Better ramp down power use but parts are more expensive if things go wrong

  • We installed a Daikin 10 years ago, it works well & has never broken down. It cost a couple of thousand more but its high quality and long-lasting.

    • They all usually last 10y plus. Just like any fridge. I got Fujitsu and LG passes the 10y mark in two properties. Currently, I have an Actron, not 10yr yet but so far no issues.

    • Similar story. Installed Daikin ducted system 18 years ago. Been perfect. No problems at all.
