Similar to previous deals (eg https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/755245) except you need to hold $500

Doesn't support osko fast transfer unless you confirm identity in a branch but you can schedule a transfer for next day

There's been issues about get the $50 looking at some of the previous deals posted. New members only it seems, my interpretation is that you can't have held an account previously

  Closed an IMB accnt last Oct, will have to go read the T&C's when I can get their page to load.

  Reading previous deal sounds like you can't close, wait x months and open again for another bonus.

  I opened a saver account and tried to transfer money into the new account. However, it failed and the system said that the account seemed to be closed. Do I need to open an everyday transaction account as well?

    They don't support Osko payments, try a different method(osko disabled) or scheduled payment.

    Osko apparently can be enabled via visiting a branch or filling forms they can mail out.

    You can do it from any bank, just set the transfer date to tomorrow or 2 days from now and it'll work. It'll just take a day or two (after your transfer) to show up in the account.

    Note: You have to jump through hoops to prove your identity to make Osko and PayID work unless you have a branch nearby, and a physical card has a monthly fee on it. Worst bank i've dealt with.

      I agree totally. I cannot transfer my money to it and got no bonus, they take my data, and forced me to have an empty account with them. I called up their customers support, they were hopeless, wasted my times and all.:( :( :(.

      Why do they make this requirement for verification, it's not like they got thousands of branches nationally. Just a handful of physical branches and demand these requirements. I think this bank look very suspicious.They do not really care about a banking business, they just want your ID and you become their members

  I had the account and got the bonus $50 during the prior deal, and wasn’t eligible for the last one. So indeed, if you’ve availed the deal once, you can’t again.

  Has anyone utilised the referral offer for IMB? I received a thing in the mail offering $50 each for referee and new customer. It says the ew customer has to present the voucher at a branch, which isn’t possible for me being interstate.

  Briefly looking at new sign up process online I couldn’t see anywhere to put in the referee details.
