        Dear God, please help me.

    • Reminds me of a tight 'A' mate, who had to walk through DJs or MYER (can't recall) to get to work, so each day sampled cologne as his daily routine, rather than buy a bottle! Figured that he also got variety, as well as a good deal (read best deal being free!!!)

      • Yeah that's a good trick in Thailand to freshen up between beach walks but the staff watch you pretty closely haha.

  • +3

Ahh yes the daily room spray returns

  • +4

great budget all arounder. i use this for my work cologne in the office, and i get a lot of complements and it is also not offensive. 1 spray on wrist, chest, neck, and behind ears.

      What about the crotch?

        1 pump for the chump.

      • +7

And the back, crack and sack?

  • +3

Bought this from Amazon price match last time it ran, pretty happy - seems to last quite nicely thru the day

    • How long does it take them to price match?

      • +5

        Let me ask Jeff

  • +4

Just FYI these were normally about this price. RRP has changed all the time. These are just hard to find click and collect and sell out quickly due to pricing.

I own one. Great light and summer fragrance smell. Great for those looking for bang for buck (i researched bang for buck a lot).

I ended buying mine at terry's chemist for $25 click and collect as it was in stock when i bought mine. Great buy!

    • How do these do compared to Davidoff’s Cool Water?

  • +8

Does this make you smell like the beach?

    • +1

      smell like cucumber

      • +2

Totally agree it will make you smell like a cucumber.

        • +3

Yeah but normal cucumber or sea cucumber

      • Cool as

    • Just like a Bondi cigar

      Voyage heritage is different

      • yeh, its better

        • no it's not lol
          it's different.

  • +1

Ah the scent of a true G

  • +2

For 100ml at $19 you can't really beat it. It's a perfect summer fragrance that smells inoffensively fruity and fresh. Perfect for most occasions, or even as a room spray. Plus, it goes on sale often enough, so you don't really feel too guilty using it liberally.

  • +16

At an OzBargain meet up everyone smells the same

    • +3

      Cheap smell?

      • +5

Don't be crass. We smell like a bargain.

        • +2

You mean we know a bargain when we smell it

        • +1

          I'm sure you do :)

  • +4

    Prefer Davidoff Cool water

  • +2

Must admit, I jumped on the bandwagon the last time this came up, and it’s actually a nice scent.

Not too overwhelming, and not too fruity

  • +1

I jumped on this scent a week or so ago when it was posted and I love it. Very clean, fresh, not over bearing. Good all-rounder.

The scent enthusiasts at Fragrantica rate it well as well: https://www.fragrantica.com/perfume/Nautica/Nautica-Voyage-9…

  • This use to be $14.99 couple of years back if I am not wrong as I recollect buying a few at that price. Has it gone up now and is this the new normal?

    • That might have been a different Nautica fragrance - lots of them are quite cheap at the moment

  • -7

Something about chemist warehouse fragrances, the smell doesnt last and its not as strong

  • -1

    Official fragrance of ozbargain

  • per aspera ad astra 🔭

  • +3

Got this from last Amazon sale not really sure if I like the smell tbh

    • I'm with you.

Obviously popular with many in OzBargain, but I'm not a fan and am left wondering what to do with 99ml of fragrance I don't like.

      • +1

Would buy off you if you were in NSW. Fragrances are hard like that, easy to end up with someone you don't really like

      • +1

Everyone's skin is different and the way it reacts.
I don't mind it tor the price. Perhaps go and test some other ones and forget about the cost.

From CW I like MB explorer, Issey Miyake, Hugo, Versace Eau Fraiche.. all about $70.

    • -3

      it's rancid

      • +1

Definitely not that bad, got the sniff of approval from my mum who has told me in the past whenever i rock up in offensive colognes

      • Really great review

    • +1

I didn't like it at first, but now I don't mind it. I also own CK Eternity and CK Euphoria. Used to like Cool Water but it gives me a headache now.

“Nautical Voyage essentially smells like like you had water melon dripping onto your skin, it’s very sweet and I highly recommend for youth and schoolers”

whats the longevity and sillage of this? I wouldn't expect anything crazy given the price but also never used this cologne before

    • -2

Crap question and silly comment. Wasting internet.

      • Found jv's alternate account

    • +1

I wouldn't say this bottle will increase your lifespan nor sex life. But it does give you a sense of cheap (bargain) satisfaction when you walk past someone who has the same smell but paid full price.

Bought today. Agree- smells cucumber, and smells cheap. Disappointed. Will be given to my 10 year old son in the process of 'growing up' in selecting good perfumes. This one will be an example of the lowest quality.

  • Would recommend Voyage Heritage instead. This one smells overly synthetic to me. So if you're thinking of blind buying more than one (which I stupidly did) would not recommend doing so.

    • Lol so you've said.. synthetic. I've read a lot better reviews than yours but all depends what you are used to and what scents you like. It's not that bad though, especially for $15. I can't imagine your buyer's remorse spending $120 on a fragrance!

Also, you don't need to bathe in it, women have a good sense of smell.

      • Well I was fooled by all the hype and reviews as well so thought I warn others especially those who might be thinking of blind buying more than one. Yes it's cheap but still that money could be better spent on a decent frag.

        • Yeah fair enough. Doesn't sit too bad on my skin, have had worse ones.

          • @G-rig: Maybe my nose is a bit on the sensitive side or something but I get sort of a sharp headache/nausea inducing middle and base notes. Hence the warning.

            • +1

@dins: Just testing it myself too.
May be better off not spraying too close to nose on chest as they all can do that (maybe arms), and not too much.

    • Feels like this is the case with so many fragrances. Heaps of ppl saying they love it and always the one or 2 dudes saying they hate it. So it worries me whether my work mates or whoever I'm with after applying it might have similar tastes to the 1 or 2 dudes. Id hate to have them smell something they dont like for so long. Does a perfume loved by everyone exist?

      • +2

        Should ask them ha.

Agree, there'd be a million say they love the iPhone, and a few that don't. Like most reviews you only really hear from a couple with complaints, not the vast majority that are happy and wouldn't bother leaving a review.

Best just reading the reviews on the fragrance sites instead of old mate saying it's '$hit'.

      • +1

Can recommend K by Dolce & Gabbana and The One as well etc. They are around $70 when on sale but easy on the nose and not synthetic smelling so unlikely to offend anyone.

These are cheap for a reason. Most reviews on these are probably going by price/value more than anything else.

        • Price and value, doesn't sound like ozbargain ha..

What does synthetic smell like - The scent opens with cool green leaf and fresh cut apple. The heart blends drenched mimosa, water lotus, and deep aquatic elements with the ‘sailcloth accord’. The woody drydown is a mix of moss, cedarwood, musk, and amber?

Yeah I usually just the CW ones around $60-70 when on special, sometimes you get lucky with a $40-50.

          • @G-rig: Synthetic to me is when you have overpowering artificial notes like in body sprays, air fresheners and scented cleaning products etc.

Again as I said it could be just that my nose is more sensitive but with this one after the first few minutes I definitely get this sharp synthetic floral/lotus? note permeating throughout. That after awhile just becomes overbearing for mine.

For $29.99 there's this one at CW currently on sale Roberto Cavalli UOMO Eau De Toilette 100ml $29.99.. I would definitely recommend spending that extra $10 and picking this one up if there's any stock nearby.

            • @dins: That's fair. You get what you pay for with most stuff but it gets good reviews for a budget friendly scent.

Yeah sounds ok, I've got enough so not getting more.

Another decent review, this one mentions it's pretty strong so you don't need much.

@citybargainhunter: Cheers buddy bought a couple of em already but maybe another one won't hurt! 😂

              • @citybargainhunter: How is it or bought it blind?

Meant to be pretty sweet, winter scent for date night etc, maybe not very masculine but sounds nice enough. Fair few budget options around.

@citybargainhunter: cool, could be another good cheapie for the collection.

                    • @G-rig: Price at CW just went back up to $80, eBay price is still the same.

                      • +1

                        @citybargainhunter: Cheers mate done
Will give it a sniff at CW if they got it before opening it but should be ok and had some gift card money sitting there (and $1.50 off voucher).

                      • @citybargainhunter: Shipped today, just got in in time.
Blind buying by it sounded ok to be honest (not an every day scent) for $30 delivered 😉.

                        • @G-rig: Nice, yeah noticed the eBay price went back up as well. Mine should arrive on Monday, it will the most expensive fragrance (by RRP) in my current collection so a little bit excited lol.

                          • @citybargainhunter: Cool should be alright.

I still got some allure homme sport from 2003, look up that one.

                            • @G-rig: That one is definitely out of my price range lol

                              • @citybargainhunter: Keep an eye out for Versace Eau Fraiche (currently $80 at CW or $70 ebay plus with coupon), almost out of it.

Great for summer as is Issey Miyake for men (same price as above for 125mL) - both favorites from CW.

                                • @G-rig: Will do, thanks.

Btw, the Roberto Cavalli arrived, it has the best sillage and longevity out of my entire (modest) collection. Really good value.

                                  • @citybargainhunter: Nice work, picked up mine from the po today too, pretty good for the price. Don't know if it's a daytime one but got it on anyway.
