    Display
    10.61" 2K IPS 400nits

    • The display is very good for a budget tablet.

      • I wasn't saying it was bad, I just couldn't see the specs in the OP. Not sure why I got negged

These will be the 2022 model. The 2023 came out about a month ago. This price represents excellent value.

    • The ZAAM0081AU has only been available since July 2023.

  • Bought one from BingLee last week. Seriously I can't complain for the price!

Waiting for Android 13 upgrade now…. anybody know when?

    • Still waiting on mine, I think the ZAAM0081AU being only available since July won't get it for a few weeks/months.

Older variants of the 3rd Gen Tab M10 are already on Android 13.

  • ZAAM0081AU

This is the newer variant with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6nm chip. All the previous Wifi variants had the Mediatek G80 which is a 12nm SOC.

Picked one up at $249 from JBHiFi last week and it's a great tablet for the price. The display and speakers are outstanding for a budget tablet.

Using it as a media consumption device and it is very good.

The sound especially was a shock to me. The quad speakers are loud and has good clarity.

      • Indeed, it was a pleasant surprise as I didn't expect much for $249.

    • I want to buy a 9th gen iPad 64GB for about $450. How does that model compares to this one? This seems cheaper and have more memories but will this outlast an IPad? I only need for browsing and some apps and photos. I don’t upgrade my tech too often so want something that is solid. Thanks.

      • Have the same choice to make and it's a tough decision. Watched this comparison but it might be using the 2nd gen Lenovo

        • Very good comparison. I do like the smooth performance from IPad but its more expensive and sound quality is not great.

Do you know how these 2 compare when in comes to using/buying stylus? Kids might want to draw.

@1bargain: The Lenovo P11 Gen 2 comes with a stylus. Its also a little faster and has more memory.

Its around the $399 mark. Sometimes it can be had cheaper from bing lee with ebay coupons.

      • I also saw a lot of praises for those budget Android tablets. But a quick search on the processor performance shows too absurd difference that I would definitely go for the iPad 9th https://nanoreview.net/en/soc-compare/unisoc-tiger-t618-vs-a…
        https://nanoreview.net/en/soc-compare/qualcomm-snapdragon-68…

A mid-tier flagship Samsung A73 already gives me very bad memories… just can’t imaging how laggy those tablets would be if I “accidentally” click the screen too quick.

  • I also picked one up last week. These are ok, but not very snappy. Seem to be fine for a bit of googling and an occasional video call

  • Get a blackview tab 11 8gb ram and plays Netflix in hd and can use a Sim for calls and data and comes with a case and 2 years warranty and way cheaper. Great tablet and faster than this lenovo. I have both and gave the lenovo to the kids.

    • Netflix looks better on the blackview then?

      • +1

        definitely

Went into the store today and they don't sell them there, so only available online.

These are awesome for the price… pretty much all you need for basic media consumption.

Yes, great tablet with the 2K IPS display and quad speakers.
