I see an additional 10% SNS coupon. So it comes out to be $32 when you select S&S.

    • Confirmed. Ordered 3x S&S separate orders with extra 20% off further at checkout.

      • Couldn't be bothered doing it that way and wasn't sure it would apply to the later 2 orders, ended up coming to $34ea for the L'oR somehow.

      • I did the same. Worked out cheaper doing 3 separate orders. More of a discount!

    • I should have bought more when it was $55 for 200 :(

Correction: $52.05 for 200 in June

"Not as cheap as Prime day where I picked up 2 sets of 100 for $68 with S&S instead of $72 S&S. Good deal for those running low."

200 pods work out to $60 with s&s; so even cheaper!

This L'Or branding would be great for a condom company

    • I came here to comment the exact same thing haha

      • I thought they were VHS tapes at first…

  • Any offers on the double shot ones? I thought they were Lungo but no its the XXL ones I need

  • Finally! Just stocked up on 400, thanks boss

  • Right in time. My stock was finishing

  • L'Or has been my go to for a few years but I've tried the Woolies Intense ones and they're pretty comparable.

Woolies ones actually works out slightly cheaper than this deal if you have the 10% off via Insurance/Mobile.

  • What do y'all do with the used pods?

I put em in a old 4L ice-cream container and once it's full drop it into the recycling bins at Nescafe since there's a store just a few mins from where I live.

  • Random question for anyone using these with the L'OR Barista Sublime - is anyone getting a burnt tinge to all the different flavours? Honestly this is the first coffee machine I've owned and the first pods I've used. Not sure if the machine is maybe a tiny bit faulty and heating things too much, it's happening on all 3 settings and both L'OR and Nespresso pods.

    • Machine might need a clean???

I've been using the official Philips/L'or descaler, but it's become so scarce and expensive that i've switched to Coles Ultra descaler - haven't tried it yet though, so can't comment on how it compares, but I have to clean mine every few months, so i'll find out soon.

      • Thanks for the reply :)

The machine is a little over 3 weeks old, but gave it a pretty good clean according to the instructions - I didn't however give the descaler a whirl yet, so will give that a try first I suppose

        • If it's only 3 weeks old, it probably doesn't need descaling. Two of the three button lights flash when it needs a clean.

(That's if you've got the machine that uses the double-size pods, and has a milk frother on the side, this one…)

I guess it can't hurt to try the Coles one. It's like $4 a bottle (I think) and you get 2 cleans out of it.

My machine's well over 2 years old and my only complaint with it is the water doesn't get hot enough to melt sugar properly and it has some difficulty piercing some 3rd party capsules (like those from Urban Brew), but other than that, can't complain… though I do use 2 pods for each coffee. I pop one in & press lungo, then another and do an espresso and ristretto out of the 2nd one. That tends to work for most pods, but it's a matter of finding the right combination of pods and lungo/espresso/ristretto options that give you the best taste. It shouldn't taste burnt though, unless you're using high intensity pods, then there may be a slight bitterness.

          • @Graffin: Yeh I thought it might be the pods but I got myself a box of one of almost everything then decided I'd give the Starbucks Vanilla pods one as that surely couldn't taste burnt, but it definitely still had that slight burnt taste to it, I'll give another clean a whirl with descaler then if it still tastes like that will see what Amazon have to say. Thanks for the tips again :)

            • @MBix: No probs. I haven't seen or tried the Starbucks vanilla. The blonde ones (about an 7 or 8 intensity) aren't bad.

I hated the L'or vanilla, caramel and chocolate. Vanilla and caramel were sweet and sickening and just tasted wrong. The chocolate was drinkable, but all 3 were so weak, you'd need 3 pods to get a proper cuppa.

If it's Amazon they're pretty easygoing. Should be able to send yours back and they'll ship another one to you for free. That way you can see if it was a defective machine or not!

    • Yeah, I'm getting that also but it's very old now, most likely over 2 years. I need to clean it every 4 coffees or so otherwise there will be dregs in the coffee and taste will start to go bad. I don't clean it properly though, just run it without a pod in 2-5x on the highest setting and clean the bottom of the pumps.
Honestly it's never been a great machine compared to previous ones but I got it for free with pod purchase ages ago so can't really complain…
