200

Haven't seen this at my local store for a while until today. The website shows unavailable on some devices, but in stock on other devices, not sure what's happening.

Saw the Holman guy putting a stack on display https://imgur.com/a/h4mRuSD
I let him know a large portion of people here thinks his products are a POS.

      Where are they made?

      • +8

        probably in a factory somewhere

        • what are they made from?

          • +6

@franco cozzo: probably with some materials

            • @jayz: and that is why there is a hol man

@jayz: Materials are also what Hitler's war machine was made of. Hard neg.

It stop functioning less than year. Bought it around the same price as well. It's made out of plastic or other versions of it

    • yep…lucky to get a second year out of these POS. only have a set because of clearance price

Kmart has an easily breakable spray gun for just $4, so grab two of them to save 20%?

      • Yeah I've been using one of these for years, forgot that it came from Kmart - thanks!

    • Yep - these are no match for the great Australian Sun.

Bought it a few days ago. Can confirm it’s worse than my previous one from Aldi special buy.

  • I got these for washing the car, not the best but work fine for a year so far. I also drop them a fair bit while washing the car. Seems a fair price for $10 but wasn't going to pay more.

  • don't get this. mine stopped after one month, while Aldi lasted 3yrs.

    • what do you mean by stopped working? water not coming out?
      or is it leaking?

    • My metal aldi one, after about a year, the function that holds the water in stopped working. So now, when I open the tap, it flows at half mast, until I press the trigger.

I don't know how to fix it so just living with it.

These are great until they fail which was a short amount of time for me!

  • What's the warranty on these?

  • +1

I have these for couple years now. No issues.

  • Try getting something made of metal. These don’t last much longer than 6 months, use case comes into it I would say, but daily use had them brittle and falling apart very quickly.

  • Mine lasted about 4 yrs - the ring started leaking in the 2nd year, then the rubber cracked off the adjust rings. then the pressure adjust failed and now its only low pressure - so time to replace i guess

im not sure how long they are meant to last - but thats not too bad.

  • "I let him know a large portion of people here thinks his products are a POS."
    what was the response?
    .

    • +2

The exact words were "Hope these don't break in a few months like everyone says"
      Response was "you'll be fine"

  • On mine, the multi sprayer one ends up with a spring in the selector system rusting out in about a year, because it's not made of stainless steel. (or at least not a grade that can handle being wet for prolonged periods)

It's a shame they choose to save a tiny bit of money on the spring, rather than creating a product that lasts. Though based on other people's experiences, perhaps something else would fail a short time later anyway.
