If you went down the rabbit hole of the recent deal at https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/796263 and wanted the Lamy 2000.

Apparently these run wide (extra fine in this = fine in other nibs).

  Great looking fountain pen. I've tried this original fibreglass model but found it too light, ended up going for the stainless steel version (~$100 more).
  Nib is good, smoother and better ink flow than lamy's steel nibs on their al-star/safari pens. It doesn't really run wider than those nibs, though haven't noticed or compared much to other brands.

      Yes, the 2000 has a nib unlike the rest of the range and is not interchangeable.
