  • Unreal, Amazon just made it so deodorant can't be delivered to Darwin anymore.

    • Most likely not available in your Local Warehouse, and Amazon AU won't ship interstate (via AusPost) as Aerosols are a prohibited item

      • NT Doesn't have a local warehouse, and my order was for roll on deodorant. Also, I ordered aerosol spray only a couple of months ago and that went through.

        • No idea then, maybe contact Amazon Customer Service?

    • +3

Same issue for me in WA, most of the roll on's "can't be shipped to my location" although the Sensitive Protect one seems to be fine.

      • +2

All of the aerosols and a shaving gel 'can't be shipped to my location' in Metro Perth!
        WTF?

  • +1

cant be delivered to qld either? wtf

    • I just placed my order on the Sunny Coast.

  • Fantastic prices. Stocked up for hubby. Thank you :)

Hmm. 27 M and never used moisturiser before. This a good place to start?

    • +1

      Yeah

Start wearing an SPF daily sunscreen/moisturiser everyday. It’s the best thing you can do for aging.

NIVEA MEN Protect And Care Moisturiser SPF15 75ml

        Or

NIVEA MEN Hyaluronic Anti-Age Face Cream SPF15 50ml

I use the 75ml sensitive moisturiser. It's awesome.

I'm not much of a skincare guy, but have tried a cheap moisturiser that was light and made my skin feel slimy. Have used another one that was too thick and felt like you're wearing sunscreen.

This one is perfect and is nicely absorbed into your skin.

          • @ferrisb: do you use the sensitive pro one or the sensitive with chamomile one?

            • +1

@alcadive: I use the chamomile one. But it looks sold out.

I imagine they're similar feel, but I can't vouch for the pro.

  • What is S&S, could someone explain.

    Thanks!
I was going to restock on the Nivia Black and White roll on when I next went shopping, but this is just too good and massive savings.

  • Great deals . Thanks.

  • Has anyone ever actually kept a subscription to anything Amazon push?

    • +8

Nope, cause the price isn't 'locked in', so you end up paying whatever the price is on the next subscription.

      • +3

        ^^^ This.
If it was a true subscribe and save you would agree the price and the term, and then pay THAT price at the selected intervals.
Instead Amazon lock in the intervals - but you pay whatever price they choose at the time.
        That is bullsh!t.

        • +4

Yeah it's literally designed for people to "set and forget", then get slugged for full price the next round if you don't cancel.

  • Cheers OP! Topped up my roll on and sprays :)

  • Can't digitally smell them, any recommendations?

Spray deodorant is such a rort.

It looks like you're getting a great deal because the 250ml spray-can costs less than double the 50ml roll-on, but that 250ml includes the aerosol propellant!

Last time I bought a 250ml spray can only because I had to go to a wedding on a stinking hot day, my 50ml roll-on ran out and the convenience store across the road only had the aerosol.

I hate aerosol deodorant because it makes the entire room stink, makes a mess, and fills the room with flammable hydrocarbons. I didn't want to waste the can so decided I'd spray the entire can into a plastic bag, then collect the fluid for use in the empty 50ml roll-on container.

After emptying the entire can into a plastic bag outside - expecting ~250ml of fluid - only 30ml of deodorant liquid remained. 220ml of propellant evaporated into thin air.

You're paying nearly double for only 60% of usable product.

    • +1

That's not a rort, that's just you incorrectly using the product.

      • So you think double the price for half the amount is a good deal?

How exactly is spray deodorant better than roll-on? They both perform the same function.

  • Whenever I hear Nivea, I remember this

  • I really miss the in shower body lotion. It was such a convenient way to apply moisturiser to the whole body, especially in winter when the air is really dry - alas it seems you can’t get it easily here anymore ☹️
