  Need one to connect with the Yamaha 108b sound-bar, and reviews for aren't that great. Any recommendations by anyone, as to which one to go with? Wait for SW300 with a better deal?

    I have the SW100 model and it sounds nice - weak spot is the soundbar and having it situated in the right room including carpets and soft furnishings behind it help. I initially had it setup in bedroom configured as such and the subwoofer gave the soundbar a big step up in sound quality and sounded smooth and easy to relax to.

    Later on placed it temporarily in a room without furnishings except wooden table and hardwood floors and it sounded average at best.

    Suggest checking out eBay and Gumtree. The 100 has been as low as $199 new, if not lower and I bought it used for around $140-160.

    I think the 50 would sound alright as well if the room is small enough and you wish to save space. The 100 is in a 5 x 4 room and I run it at about a third of what it can do.

    Check to see if it comes with a subwoofer cable. My used model did not and Amazon has them for a relatively low price.

  NS-SW300 is $529 everyday of the week.
  It’s not even a 10% discount.
  Not buying until it’s $399 like it was few months ago.

  Ignore the fake RRPs on all of them. This is not that big a deal.
