Calendar Clock

Looking for a Calendar Clock for a person with dementia. Needs to have Day and Month displayed alphabetically, e.g. Thur(sday) 13 September and for the clock to show analogue time. Also needs to be fairly large. The only one I've seen that fits the bill is a Jadco AD660 - http://www.jadcotime.com.au/product_details.php?item_id=25 - but the price is a bit steep, i.e. about $175 delivered. Any help would be much appreciated.

    Cant you buy a cheap android 10 inch tablet and run an alarm clock app?

    try looking up 'flip wall clock'

    saw a few on ebay that look similar to the one you posted.. but either way still fairly pricey… these type of clocks are about 100 dollars minimum

    at reject shop for about $35 but they r not very accurate and dont last long.

    But I must say I like the flip clocks, very retro.

      Wrong order is no problem but manually flipping is going to be the issue for somebody with dementia, but thanks anyway.

        The ebay item description isn't clear, but surely the buttons are for setting the date/day, and not something that needs to be pressed every day?!

    Could you not get a conventional analogue wall clock and a digital calendar clock? Might be cheaper than wanting them combined.

      Sounds good in theory but mother-in-law already has more analogue wall clocks than Angus & Coote; I am trying to replace all these clocks with a single calendar clock. Dementia is the big issue/problem here but thanks for the suggestion.
