INC 100 Whey Protein Isolate Various Flavours 2kg $68.99 + Delivery (Free C&C) @ Chemist Warehouse

180

Been well received in the past when on special. I am about to finish the Musashi 100% WPI and I have to say I like the Inc. brand better. I am sure there are better products and the gurus on the site will no doubt offer the obligatory opinion. For the price though I think this is a reasonable offering.

Both chocolate and vanilla are on special. It's also available for the same price at myChemist

Do musashi make a 100% wpi? Thought it was a wpi/wpc blend.

    • +2

You are in fact correct, it says 100% Whey on the container but turns out to be WPC/WPI.

      Sneaky buggers.

    • They do still make it (on special order) but not currently sold in Australia. Needs to be ordered in a serious quantity, apparently over 1400 tubs to make it worth their while.

INC 100% Dynamic Whey 2kg is $53.99. I posted it for $43.19 about 1 year ago. Inflation sucks.

Still it's the cheapest I think I've seen it recently. Op should add it to the title.

    • +1

The Dynamic Whey when on sale is hard to beat, Cookies and Cream is my pick.

      • was going to try this, but no stock anywhere near me (inner SE melb) / convenient.

    • $39 with the CommBank offer.

There a Citi offer too but min spend is $75 instead.

    • +1

Yep, protein and creatine prices have gone up dramatically

    • I'm relatively new to protein shakes.

From what I'm reading, WPI isn't as high in quality, but will help you feel fuller for longer. Maybe better for cutting? But Dynamic is better for post-workout recovery.

Does that kind of sum it up?

This one hasnt been well received.. you're confused with the 100wpi which is a good buy at this price but not this

  • +2

Good deal with commbank 15 off 50.
    Going to buy one

    • Assume this is targeted? I don't have it :(

  • $45 for 2kg plant protein seems very cheap!

    • +2

Because it's gritty and tastes horrible

      • +3

I add a scoop of the plant with nicer tasting stuff.
Adds some extra protein without overpowering the taste

        • That's a great idea because I am struggling through mine

      • Goes down fine for me , good none dairy alternative.

      • Have to agree, bought the small sample pack and did not enjoy the taste. Mind you yet to find a plant based protein I've yet to enjoy the taste.

    • Where's this?

  • Anyone had this and Amino Z before and how do they compare?

(Both in taste and in quality)

    Many thanks for sharing 🙏🏼

    • Haven't had amino Z. But I like the taste of this (chocolate) more than Venom (VPA) chocolate and ON chocolate.

    • +1

Amino Z is fantastic - when they have their ozbargain sales on they are near impossible to beat for both value+quality. Their Creme Caramel and Vanilla Creamy flavours are top tier.

I've had this, Musashi "100%" whey and am now on Amino-z and haven't looked back. Amino-z tastes better, mixes better and they only use quality lab tested whey isolate. They are about the same price or cheaper depending on if you take advantage of sales. Recently I got 4kg with free delivery for $150 + a $55 credit which will get me another kg delivered with $13 credit left over. Technically it's about $137 for 5kg (about $27/kg) when you take advantage of sales. They have fantastic customer service too.

    • Cant comment on the posted brand, but Amino Z is fantastic. I have only previously purchased from Professional Whey (1st mob i used, and great (hint their organic stevia is my fave stevia), no reason i bought Amino Z other than that it was on a deal on here). Every flavour of the 4 (cinnamon icing, creme caramel, choc hazelnut, choc honeycomb) i bought was spot on and NOT over sweetened. Mixes easily. Their customer service was phenomenal, to the point where i joked they should stop contact me during the delivery process…

    • Many thanks everyone for the valuable feedback above!!

I am new to training and only had Amino Z recently, looks like I'm already on Ozb's favourite brand. Will skip this and wait for Amino Z's deal to return! 😀

    • Amino Z is great if you love spam messages as well

    • I didn't mind Amino Z, but the packaging was annoying to re-seal and it didn't mix that well. But, good value and decent taste

    • +1

Amino Z (Bandito Labs) chocolate tastes really good, surprising. I am an expert on Protein Powder.

    • INC choc is 100% better than Aminoz choc in terms of taste. No contest.

  • Just putting this out there as another option but 2kg of SSD branded whey on eBay is $58.95 + $3.99 postage. They sweeten with stevia and the banana flavour is great. 26.7g protein per33g serve.

    • Their vanilla was the most bitter garbage I'd ever had. Their chocolate has been fine, however it's different every time. 1st order was very chocolatey, but the 2nd time it had a hint of the bitter taste that I experienced with the vanilla. The 3rd time it was undoubtedly a choc-banana flavour. While I did enjoy the choc-banana, I'm not sure I'm willing to gamble anymore with this brand

  • Thanks OP will pick one up today. Tried using the BSC high protein vanilla flavour from Coles half price as a gap filler for the next Inc special and it's horrible, so keen to pick up the Inc WPI vanilla mixes well and tastes great.
