Got Ecovacs Deebot Neo Robot Vacuum Cleaner last year 11/09/2022 and have been using it since then but in last few weeks noticed it's making a loud noise compared to normal function.
I have confirmed there is nothing stuck, nothing broken externally, so I am wondering will Aldi entertain such return esp the same product is coming "Special Buys Sat 9 September"? I don't have a receipt :( but online transaction record.
Any thoughts? Thanks.

I had the opposite experience. Also no receipt. They said since there was no warranty label on the product packaging and the purchase was over 2 months ago with no receipt, they would not refund or provide anything for it.

That sounds like a violation of ACL.
Try ACCC, and contact aldi via email after you lodge a complaint providing the complaint details.
You need proof of purchase though as well as something showing the warranty period (website, special buy catalogue etc)

Yep it's a fair stretch. A year of sucking up crap & bouncing off walls.
Aldi are good, but that's a coin toss return at best. I mean they are not responsible for making sure a vacuum cleaner doesn't sweep some sort of metal object into it's guts.
I suppose the "returns forensic team" will examine all external fasteners with an electron microscope to make sure it hasn't been tampered with,too.
Bank transaction has to be the precise value of that item, otherwise you will need a receipt.
Handy to have an image of the special buys catalogue from last year too to validate the period bought and transaction within that special buys period.
I went back to return a tap 4 years later and they looked up the receipt after I showed them the transaction date
Buy a new one and return the old one with the receipt of the new one you've just bought.
Gee I wonder why Aldi's Special Buy prices keep creeping up?

aldi is pretty good with returns. just take it back and tell them you didn't expect to return it so didn't keep the receipt. Show the bank transaction and you should be g2g.
