            @jv: Curious, how do you know they are not MFi? Because the phone didn't recognise it? Genuine question. Because MFi is just a certification, and a non-MFi cable may work as well as a certified one.

          All I'm saying is comparing Amazon ASINs with UPC/EAN codes doesn't make any sense. Of course they could have lied, but this is not the way to detect it.

    you don’t need a lightning cable in a couple of days because iphone 15 switch to type c and there are exceeding lightning cables in the market.

          In a couple of days? I don't think so. Apple supports old devices for a really long time, so don't expect the lightning cable to go anywhere in the next couple of years. If anything it will become a niche product and will get more expensive (try finding a 30-pin charging cable for a first or second generation iPhone/iPad).

            @bio: Certainly the lightning cables will stay around for a few years as we watch the generations of iphones pass us by. But also optimally one shouldn't spend too much money investing in good lightning cables or adapters from now on. Just get a cheap one that will last you a couple of years and watch them get priced down steeply as we approach its end of life. That said, $10 for 3 good MFI cables is very reasonable. I would have purchased it if not for owning too many lightning cables.
