Rightfully so. Lightning is unnecessary proprietary tech that is slower charging, less versatile and even within its own company (Apple), doesn't work with various devices. Some use lightning, some use thunderbolt, some use magsafe, some use usb-c.
About time we saw the end of lightning. It was better than micro-usb at the time it came out but its old, proprietary tech that should have gone to the scrap heap some time ago

These cheap MFi certified cables sort of mark the beginning of the end of Lightning.
I'm looking forward to USB-C charged iPhones, but with billions of iDevices around the world, Lightning will be sticking around for sometime.

I buy them under a different brand but they're generic, I hand them out at work to anyone who loses their phone cable. Usual price is $17 for a 6-pack (arshcea on amazon)
They're good value for a $2.90 cable, mine is 3 years old but some people break them after 6 months.
