  • Officeworks wouldn't price match. It's a prime exclusive and it isn't sold by Amazon.

    • I successfully price matched at Officeworks in store.

      • And that's why I find Officeworks frustrating when it comes to price matching.

        • It's not prime exclusive? I don't have Amazon Prime. Officeworks charged me the nominal shipping fee from Amazon, then discounted by 5%.

          • @hardcoreshilling: That's what the lady at the counter told me. I've just hopped off the phone with Officeworks main number and I got the 128gb card for $32.77 and the 256gb card for $65.16

            • @Rojohe: Yeah, price matching in general can be difficult. JB HiFi acted like it was coming out of their personal pockets when I tried to price match Amazon before. Officeworks should price match any seller on Amazon, apart from Prime only deals.

    • I successfully price matched with Officeworks, they were sceptical at the beginning few people came over and checked, as long as it is sold by AU seller, not imported and the product number matches with AU stock, doesn't have to be directly from Amazon

  • does this have any pros over the Samsung pro endurance? not sure why this costs more..

    • This has a 15-year warranty, and allegedly some dashcam models aren't compatible with the Samsung Pro Endurance.

hmm, not sure 15yr warranty will even come in handy as most people change cars around 8 year mark, more so because the sandisk is rated for fewer hours of recording than samsung.
surprisingly my viofo model description mentioned its not compatible with samsung but its working without any issues for around 6 months now.

I have had so many Sandisk Endurance SD cards fail, whereas no Samsung ones. Getting Sandisk/Western Digital to RMA them is next to impossible as well. The RMA form asks for a serial that comes up as invalid when you type it in, you have to email them and then get a canned "Which SSD is this?" and then a back and forth about how it's actually a microSD card… TLDR, get the Samsung instead!

      • I had a Samsung high endurance failed in a web cam after 1 year. Can't rma, luckily Amazon came to rescue.

  • The price hardly drop obviously there is still demand.
