Recommend me Sydney Birthday Dining @ $60pp

Hi,

I have a budget around $500 for 8 people ~$60 pp for a birthday dinner.

Sunday is set time so ideally places that don't charge the 15% surcharge.

Missed out on the 50% off course set menus at Manly House and another place.

What are some nice more formal dining places to celebrate a birthday in or around Sydney CBD.

In the past we have celebrated at:
Babylon
Bistro Rex
Lilong by Taste of Shanghai
Bavarian Haus
So seeking something similar.

  • whos birthday is it for? age? is the 8 people friends or 8 people family? what is the theme? more info please.

  • 8 friends all around 26 years old

No theme just like a normal dinner outing but not casual dining

Shared meals is good as well

  • korean bbq buffet

    • I went to one with my mother and she assumed it was unlimited meat for free. They kept bringing out more and more meat and at the end she said she assumed it was all included so they charged us only for one plate. She's always been a little shameless like that actually, now that I think about it…

  • Maybe something on the birthday freebies/discounts is appropriate? https://www.ozbargain.com.au/wiki/list_of_birthday_deals

Pulled the trigger on Pino's Vino E Cucina's a la carte menu in Alexandria which seemed good for sharing

Other option was Bar Tottis but no more spots

Looked at every recommend here but didn't seem the fit, couldn't find any decent set menus around that price range either
