came across this one on the Officeworks website. Online only but you can have it delivered to your local store so you don't have to pay for postage. Can't go wrong for $5.

    DO NOT BUY THIS.

    I bought one about 2 months ago and they are the WORST scope I've ever seen. Can't even focus on the moon. Absolutely useless, waste of $5.

    Edit: I realised my comment didn't do the scope justice. If you've paid and bought one of these, GET A REFUND. You will be VERY disappointed, VERY VERY disappointed. These would be overpriced even if they were $0.10.

      I bought one about the same time for a tenner. Absolute rubbish. Can't focus on anything. Work colleagues also purchased one and have the same problem, so its unlikely to be user error.

      Made my three kids pay $3 each for it and then felt compelled to refund their money as it is just junk. Would have taken it back but lost the receipt.

      You could use it for pirate dress ups, I guess, but don't expect to see anything through it.

    no stock in sydney area,
    apparently someone with a UK accent called their branches, reserved a bunch and then picked them all up..
    and, no it wasn't me, I only know this becuase I have a UK accent, and I called a few branches, some of which said 'oh, you, yes, it's still here, no more left'
