I started using it about a year ago and since then haven't looked elsewhere. The skin's discoloration has also gone (because, I'm guessing, it's antibacterial?).

I work with a guy who goes to the toilet once an hour and sprays what seems like a whole deodorant can all over himself. He comes out smelling worse than when he goes in. I'll be 15+ metres away and it still hurts my nose.

    • Does he have Crohns? Every hour seems excessive unless they're eating every minute lol

    NO PONG

The whole 'body odour stinks' is just another made up thing like the necessity for engagement rings.

    Look it up.

Agree, if you don’t believe in body odour sometimes being unpleasant, there’s a good chance you’ll not have need for an engagement ring.

      LOL

BO is real. Remember highschool locker rooms? Or maybe a co-worker that had a stressful day and you get within 1 meter of?

Comparing that to engagement rings is just weird.

Perhaps a quick summary instead of a blind link to a 55 minute linear ramble by the mysterious "Chuck and Josh"?

First thing is to be clean, i.e. showered with soap/body wash. No point adding antiperspirant or deodorant over skin that already has dirt/odour/bacteria on it.

Mitchum unscented is really good for perspiration and odor, but if I over use it I get dry skin
QV aluminium free is good to stop odour but doesn’t do anything for sweat
Mitchum natural power (also aluminium free) is serving me well for sweat and odour in winter but I suspect I’ll need to use the full power Mitchum come summer in QLD.

I only use fragrance free or low scent antiperspirants/deodorants and no additional fragrance, as I find fragrances give me headaches.

For some, the stink is so bad they really should consider surgery.

    Free samples too. :)

  • What smells more feet or armpits? Same smell or different? You should always take your socks off so bacteria won’t breed.

  • different scents act differently on different people, body chemistry
test and measure, ask someone who can give you an honest answer

  • Most body odors usually come with a poor diet.

  • Deodorant won't cover up BO. it will just enhance it.

    Prevention is better than cure.

Shower regularly, actually wash yourself properly and have a good diet.

Having said that I've known people in the past (ex's) who literally don't have a BO and one that had the worst BO even after having a shower. Sometimes it's just body chemistry.

I love Nuud, just pop a pea size under my armpits every week or so, doesn't give off any smell just removes the BO smell.
It's magic, I used to stink, but not anymore!

Don’t use any - haven’t for years. Putting a strong smelling chemical on sensitive skin parts is probably best avoided too. Trusted associates/family have no hesitation telling me if I stink, and I generally don’t.
Our bodies also release pheromones that are a major source of attraction which perfumes mask and interfere with.
So - not everyone stinks (but some do), and just because you stank when you were an adolescent doesn’t mean that you do now or in the future. Some cultural diets lead to body odours, but most don’t.
If you have people that you can trust to be honest with you try just washing with a simple body wash and see if that works. You may find that you are more attractive to potential partners that way too…..
