  Last time i bought a razer 10 years back it was like $150 and started having double clicking after 6 months~, have they fixed their woeful QC yet?

    This exact model is highly prone to double clicking. I briefly patched it with a software fix but I had to chuck mine out after ~9 months.

        I've fixed my old deathadders several times by opening the button switch housing and reshaping the spring. Very fiddly but pretty simple. Eventually the axle on the scroll wheel degrades and snaps off.

        I now use a viper and baselisk. Both have optical switches and have had no double click issues after a couple of years. Baselisk is actually great for office work.

    I was thinking mine is actually quite good. Now I remember I uninstalled the Razer software and use a 3rd party driver.
