      I bought every brand of electrical tape that Bunnings sold several years ago in an effort to find a good one…..they were all shit.

      I now only buy it from electrical, plumbing and reticulation stores as they only sell the good stuff.

      I won't buy any tape other that Nitto. Bunnings best practice is to replace any quality branded product with their own cheap Deta or Click branded rubbish and remove the competitors from their shelves. They are experts at selling inferior junk that is destined for landfill. Environmental vandals. They have disgraceful business practices.

        I don’t condone diy on anything over 60v btw - but I am in my hard yakkas about 50 hours a week, and imo if anyone works live they deserve a belt. Sparky or not.

      Henkel is better but Nitto is ok for most DIY work. The difference is that after a few years or in elevated temperature environments the Henkel will still stick but the Nitto and most others will lose adhesion and leave a goopy residue. The Nitto is still better than most tapes in this regard though (cough Bunnings).

        Don't get me wrong. I love my eneloops and ikea branded oems, but sometimes you just need the 1.5V and rechargeables only give 1.2V. That and the fact that I lose so many of my rechargeables :)

      I buy the 3M electrical tape. Expensive but made in USA. Nitto's quality has dropped after moving production away from Japan.

    Went into Store and it was all sold out, stock levels online are inaccurate/take awhile to update, I suggest you call first before going in if the drive is far out. I checked at my local store at 12pm today and it still says 3/4 colours of the Nitto tape are in stock which is wrong, so update times are probably 24 hours or longer
