Run a speed test using the Network Pulse feature in My Optus app when you are in Parramatta (2150) or Auburn (2144), make sure the test comes out with at least 50Mps download speed, share the result to Instagram with the hashtag #FastWithOptus, then register your entry at https://www.optus.com.au/about/local/fastwithoptus
There will be one winner each week. The campaign ends on 12/10 so we have around 4 winners left.
Tip: you don't have to be in Parramatta or Auburn to run the speed test. Android users can mock their locations using an app like Fake GPS. To achieve a high-speed result, just stand near a network tower in your area.

I did win. Actually that was the reason why I created this post (after receiving the call from Optus). I had to make sure I hold the device on my hand before marking myself as a winner.
Looking through the eligible posts on instagram, folks who entered the draw have ~2% chance to win so far, which is not too bad for a lucky draw.
Got my phone 3 days ago. I however did not get a call from Optus, they sent me a rather dodgy SMS message (signed by the Parramatta store manager) asking for the details I used to enter the competition. I called the store to talk to the manager to confirm it was all legit, but still was sceptical until i got the phone just under a week later.
Same experience here, got a message from Lauren. I originally thought it was a scam attempt lol. But since they asked for my name (which they already mentioned in the SMS itself) and my phone number (which is the number they sent to), I just repeated those information to them.
Getting a proof of warranty for the device is a nightmare though. No one from Optus could help since the device is not associated with my Optus account.
