Can confirm, it is $25 per shirt, you don't need to buy 4. I just bought 2 only and was $50 + postage $7.95

    • +6

      So $28.97 per shirt?

Shipping is free for $100 order, so 4 shirts for $25 including shipping.

  • They only have 1 shirt in 1 colour in my measurements.
    Very annoying.

    • pink is hot

      • But #FFC0CB or #F3CFC6 ?

        • +1

          "HotPink"

      • Water Melon!

        • Water Melon!

          …is cold.

    • +8

Should it be in Alcohol, Books, Dining, Financial, Gaming, Groceries, Pets, Travel,… instead?

Please suggest a better category 🤣
      (I didn't neg)

    • +6

Well if you could justify another category you could recommend that.

      Being a smart arse isn't a category

  • +7

These are good for WFH if you just need to look like you are wearing a nice shirt. Any closer look, quality is meh. Also durability is hopeless also. Worth $25 I suppose.

    • +6

Great value at 25 tbh. For someone who only goes in the office twice a week, these shirts are a lifesaver

    • +1

Quality is similar to Myer Blaq or Ben Sherman level brands. Durability is good in my experience as I have couple of years old shirts still as good as new. But then again, I only wear these couple of times a week max.

      • +1

Point taken. I have been buying Oxford via DFO but need to go an try out. I only buy the $37.50 ones that are luxury cotton or similar with great texture and feel. But these are becoming few and far between these days.

I hate the oxford organic cotton which can only be worn once because you can't really iron out the wrinkles once washed.

      • And before Easy Sleazy they were a lot less in the various sales during the year….

    • +2

Any closer look, quality is meh

How closely are you looking at other men?

    • Costs $1 to make, plus shipping and overheads.

      • Possibly around the $5 mark. But you are correct. $1 applies to many items in Temu. Shop like a guy who has one dollar to spend.

  • +9

$8 per like-new van heusen shirt at any vinnies ;)

      RIP

    • +4

neg for speaking the truth about a more environment-and-wallet-friendly alternative. k

    • +4

Nah, people will complain that because they don't find the perfect item every time they visit an op shop, and the op shops are ripping people off.

I just bought 3 Charles Tyrwhitt shirts at 8 bucks each, and if I wasn't such a fat ass, there was also a Scotch and Soda, Fred Perry and Ted Baker for 8, 10 and 18 respectively.

Yes, there are shops that way over charge for some brands. But there are still plenty of deals, but its purely a matter of luck and patience. If a person of your size just dropped off a good load of donation, then you are in luck. But a lot of time, its just not your day…….

      • -1

definitely depends on your area as to whether the prices are inflated or not it seems. in my experience ive also found salvos much more eager to overcharge, but then again oxford st darlinghurst is a thing.

I just bought 3 Charles Tyrwhitt shirts at 8 bucks each

I just got a couple of Gant polos for $10 ea.

        Op Shop FTW!

        • Yeah, some of the lesser known mid-premium brands are usually the best deals. They are all aware of Boss, Polo, Ted Baker and so on. But Gant, Fred Perry and others usually get missed and just priced normally.

    • +1

Also much better for environment also. Less platic waste from polyester!

  • +10

Was able to get the $20 sign up bonus to stack, 5 shirts delivered for $105 total.

    • +1

Thanks for this, was able to get one additional shirt :)

  • +2

Looks like a decent deal, the main uncertainty I generally run into with these is around sizing.
I bought 4 shirts online for $100 over a decade ago, and thought it all to be in the right size.
When they arrived, they were tight in the neck, and arms way too short.
    Basically, a waste of money.
So yeah, it's great to see that with these you can actually choose sleeve size… (biggest problem I personally always have with shirts, as I have long arms).

    • +4

Roll the sleeves up so you look like you mean business.

      • +2

Leave the top 4 buttons undone so it looks like you mean the bizness…

    • Van Heusen shirts come in different arm lengths. I always go for 90cm arms.

      • I always go for 90cm arms.

Good to know. Thanks for sharing.

  • Thanks OP…these will save me while I deal with my winter pounds. ;)

  • Are these non-iron

How do these compare to CT shirts

    • +4

cant speak of current but based on my old VH shirts, CT are leaps and bounds ahead in quality, fit and feel

      • +1

        Thanks, I'll stick with CT.

I haven't ordered from CT since 2019, that was also the last time I bought business shirts

        • Whats CT shirt? Full name please?

    • +4

Unfortunately neither these nor CT (nor any other relatively cheap/mainstream brand I've come across) can compare to back when TM Lewin had a presence in Australia. Their shirt quality was bar none at least if you were buying non-iron. All these other brands pretend to be non-iron but are still completely wrinkled after every wash and air dry. Only TM Lewin non-iron shirts were truly non-iron and also felt thick and luxurious to the touch

(If anybody knows what I mean and has found an alternative available in Australia please let me know)

      • +1

This! Still using my TM Lewin non iron shirts, excellent quality and feel, plus they had a heap of size combinations for collar and sleeve.
Also looking for an alternative, was even tempted to order from TM Lewin UK…

        • mate i am missing my TM Lewins too…such good fit and quality of fabric… Van Heusens not even remotely close.
let me know when you find out an alternative pls

      • +2

Rodd & Gunn. Really expensive, worth every $

        • Thanks - I'm looking for quality over saving a buck

      • Keen to hear any tips. I never got Tms…. I got some Peter Jacksons recently $99 for 3 ( I think) from DFO. The quality is so so.

  • +1

    Bad quality.
I still have shirts for 8 years ago and older. The quality is probably 3 times better if not more for the old ones

  • -1

$25 a shirt (select styles) since 19 August. Don't understand how this 4 for $100 (select styles) is new or different besides triggering free shipping.

  • I bought some from the last deal, the quality isn't bad for the price, in particular the black label ones!

  • +2

Save yourself a return guys, these are terrible

  • Thank you OP! I have a number of shirts that are ready for retirement, picked up 8 for $200.

  • Already bought 6 for $120.00 last week or 2 from VH.

  • Not specific to this deal. But where do people go overseas in 2023 to get shirts? Vietnam?

  • Good deal. Hopefully fits as per spec like the tm lewin shirts I've bought previously

  • +1

Bring back the TM Lewin shirts to Australia… any budding entrepreneurs out there??

  • +2

Use code: VH20-2QY1-3GVT to take an additional $12.05 off.

Bringing total to $87.95 delivered (for 4 shirts)

  • Madic74 code works, saved $20. Plus 3.5% cashrewards cashback
