Amazon & Officeworks also has 10% off but the education store doesn't check eligibility & it's cheap.

No deal, normal price for this site

Not to mention posting 8gb laptops at this price point is ridiculous to begin with.

Even 16gb's of RAM suffers from normal office workloads, and 32gb is very much the recommended go to for pro/semi pro

      • Even 16gb's of RAM suffers from normal office workloads

Not true with M1 and M2 chips.

        16GB is more than enough.

    Ram size kills the deal

M1 13” is also a much better deal considering the price difference

    • I agree. Budget computers come with 8gb, not computers that cost this much

    Where is the deal though
Apple edu has this price from day 1 of release.

Got me excited, just to see the standard edu price.

Keeping an eye out for a deal too, thanks anyway.

    Happy to give the upvote.
The link is cheaper than the standard Apple Education Store so it is a bargain for anyone who didn't know about it.

  • If you look up Apple Education store online the price of Macbook Air M2 13inch 256gb comes up as $1649. https://www.apple.com/au-hed/shop/buy-mac/macbook-air/13-inc…
With the deal link above it comes up as $1582.90. https://www.apple.com/au_edu_5000447/shop/buy-mac/macbook-ai…
The latter shows up as 'AOC AU Australian Education Union Store' page.

Has the OP, or anyone else, successfully purchased using the deal above?
Do you have to be part of the Union to get this deal?

    • I bought it using my link and had it shipped with no problems.

      • Great to know that it came through without any issues, and that it is cheaper than the regular price in the Education store. As Apple will only discount up to 10% if price matching, I reckon this is about the best price available. Haven't seen any stores discounting more than a fraction below 10% anyway.
