I wish there was a mixed pack with a few different flavours.

Price matching woolworths at $6.50(before s&s)

  • Sugar free Lemonade. Thanks OPeeee.

Wish Amazon did Kirks Orange sugar free. They have it at Coles. So much better than Fanta or Sunkist

    • +7

Coca cola has literally fuked up sprite, Fanta and who knows what else with their sugar/stevia mix. Soft drink just isn't what it once was. Luckily Kirks still okay for now.

Probably have to try brewing/making me own.

A different brand, but Schweppes Raspberry Zero Sugar, 12 x 1.1L $9.90 if anyone is interested, 8 remaining. This item will expire on 1/12/23.

    Edit: Sold out now.

  • I've never bought a big carton of drinks from Amazon before but judging by how they pack everything else I cannot imagine how they make it without exploding?

    • +1

Cans in a box, in a box, with scrunched up paper around it (maybe), usually fine. Worst case some explode and they refund you through the automated system, not your problem.

      • They been sending 30 packs without a box with a shipping label on the product for me. Have to check a box somewhere everytime to get a box now.

I have purchased store shelves worth of canned soft drinks from Amazon over the years with no issues.

      • +1

Meanwhile I buy a single book and they put it in a box 5 times too big with a single popped air pack as padding and it gets completely destroyed lol

    • Not a big fan of Drinks off Amazon. Turnover is slow. At least at supermarkets I visit they don't hold soft drinks for years or in heat forever.

      • +1

Amazon sells shitloads of soft drinks, pallets move in and out of their DC faster than it will from an individual supermarkets supply chain.

        • Not the ones I've received lol. In WA too.

Have ordered heaps of drinks from amazon including glass bottle ginger beer and it’s all arrived fine before…

    • +1

Had a glass bottle of sarsparilla explode, but all the cases of cans have been fine. Amazon will refund for the breakage so all good.

    • I've ordered blocks of softdrink cans about a dozen times from Amazon and only had one exploded can. They don't include much packing. The Kirks 20 packs came without an Amazon box, only wrapped in plastic

Sugar free better if on a diet?

    • +2

In theory yes, if your diet is simply keeping under a set amount of calories than the sugar free stuff has bugger all calories per can.

There's a car coming directly at you.

If you take sugar you jump to the left.

If you take chemical you jump to the right.

No way to know whats on the left or right of the car.

Oh, if you drink water…. you're driving the car. Muwahahahhaha

      • water is a chemical

I've noticed I crave sweets more when I drink these, I guess its the stevia/zero calorie sweetners "tricking" your body that you are consuming sugar.

    • -3

Nah. Sweeteners are worse for weight loss outcomes than sugar.

    • +1

Depends what your goals are. No calories, but reinforces the habit of reaching for sweet stuff. I find I don't build up the discipline I'd like to have

  • +2

I remember when these 10 packs would regularly go on sale for $4.95, makes me feel so old lol.

Sugar free lemon are great. Get them all the time as good as solo
