    "All colourways Lens CAT 1"

CAT1: Light tint sunglasses or fashion spectacle with limited protection against sun glare and UV
CAT2: General purpose sunglasses with good protection against sun glare & UV
CAT3: General purpose sunglasses with high protection against sun glare & UV

So, with CAT1, when you're iris enlarges in response to the tint, you actually get greater sun damage to your eyes than not wearing tints at all?

Geez, that's bad.. so they're classed as "fashion items" .. Indoor use!

The Becklys one don't mention anything about that. You'd think they're the same though.

Thanks OP - bought some of the Becklys as they are Cat 3 (you can see this on the arm of them if you zoom into the 2nd image). Bargain! Thanks to seb for mentioning the Cat stuff otherwise I wouldn't have consider it. Cheers seb!

  • Grabbed a couple of each of the Becklys with $7 shipping, the $4 difference between shipping and pickup is worth it.

  • Have some Elvis sunglasses, would they be CAT1 and wearable outside for some sun protection?

  • LOL just add 70 to your cart and get free shipping, total spend $70 for 70 pairs

  • I visited Cotton On at Hobart, but they didn't honour it. They said they couldn't price match this glasses and keep telling me to buy online.

    • Same at Brisbane store.
Tried on pair - good value for $1
Ordered few pair delivered to local store for $3. @$1, a handy gift.

      • Can't order and delivered to local store - Cotton On Hobart is not listed in the website. Anyway, ordered few pairs and paid for $7 delivery fee.
