LEGO Creator Expert Ford Mustang 10265 $150 (RRP $219) C&C or Delivered @ Target

170

As most are probably aware, Target has one of their 20% Lego set sales going on.

But what has caught my Attention more so was a set that I have been keeping tabs on for god knows how long in hope of something like this happening, The Creator Expert Ford Mustang 10265 set at a staggering $150, this deal is a drop from its normal $219 in store and a further drop from the RRP $249 that states on the Lego store Website.

I've heard word around the Traps that this set is soon to be Discontinued and may be worth a Stash for anyone keen to get their hands on it.

For me its all about the joys of Building it.

  • This item is click and collect only

  • its available for delivery also

  • I think RRP is 160 when it first came to the market… bought, built, and sold it a long time ago.

    • It was $199 before Lego’s (massive) across the board price hike.

How much did you sell the built kit for? Did you break it down into single parts in a giant bag?

      • Bought it about 120 I think from retail. Threw away the box when my little guy built it. Sold assembled for 100 or 110, cannot remember. Definitely no need a giant bag for it coz it’s not a big set.

        • It's fairly big. $100 I'd be up for a third one. Good mocs available on rebrickable

    • Paid $112.63 back in Dec 2019 thru Myer. Don't remember what discounts/stacking I did to get that price, but yeah, it was long before the LEGO price hike.

      R U OK?

    • Are times tough in your family budget?

  • Retired set too so this will probably disappear from retail soon.

  • Nice find. It will retire soon.

The valuation for this Lego - LEGO Creator Expert Ford Mustang 10265 is expected to be double by 2026 - approximately $280 to $330 depnd on the mint (unopened) vs used (opened) condition.

    • Yes, you beat me to it. I built two out of three of these mocs. They look better then the original.

    • These look awesome. I'm surprised they can be made using only bits from the same set!

Thanks OP. As much as I want to, I usually just don't like the look of Lego car sets, but I do really like the look of this one.
