Ummmmmm saving that much, yet still paying so much!? Surely there's other options with a white oak top standing desk. This price is a joke imo.
Can get nicer looking, full-grain top tables. What is so special about this to warrant the price?

31 posts and still don't know what to put in the title…sigh.

  • Price in Title. You can still state original price in title.

Lol that's outrageous for a laminate top desk that only holds 100kg.

You can get a Desky or UpDown for half that price.

Going to say this actually seems reasonable at this price. Not my style, but can see where the extra spend goes above say a desky. No way to 6k but 2.5k for a premium professional wfh setup of that style… yep.

  • This this table made my Apple (MacTable Air, iTable)

  • That's a horrendous looking desk. For the RRP or even the 'discounted' price I'd want it to be a centrepiece of my house.

Hmm, why'd they name if after my MIL

You could buy a frame and have a custom solid timber desk top made locally in Australia for less than this. Can not comprehend even the discounted price, it’s outrageous for a laminate top.

OP probably should've described more than just the basics - it seems it has drawers and inbuilt cable management too.

Still too pricey for me, but its not just a simple tabletop on an electric frame

Also looks like it has tiliting capability up to 20 degrees. That's a nice touch the others generally don't have. Wouldn't pay full price for it, but the sale price is closer to the sweet spot for mine.

Great discount, but would still prefer an IKEA electric desk with 10 year's warranty and use the left over money for Internet for 12 months

  • I could get me an Italian woodworker to make me a desk for 6k.

    • You'd probably be able to get a woodworker from anywhere in the world for 6k.
