    You say it has been almost three months. The deal you reference was posted on 26 July. It isn't even 26 September yet.

        And what DATE did you send the email. Since less than two months is almost three months in your vernacular, I'd be interested in knowing when you sent Spurr an email. Not how long ago, but WHEN. What date?

        if paid using paypal, see if you can raise a paypal dispute

        if paid using credit card, contact your bank regarding a chargeback

        • Paypal allow 45 days to raise dispute. But now it likes 60 days. :(

          since it is a victorian business i assume you need to contact victorian consumer affairs http://www.consumer.vic.gov.au/contact-us/resolve-a-dispute

          they've got an online form you can fill out.

          in future you should raise a paypal dispute if you are approaching 45 days for anything. in that respect, paying by credit card is better as you have about 6(?) months to do a chargeback.

  • Looks like op is looking to see if anyone else has ordered and what is their status. The deal said allow three weeks. It is now nearly twice that time. I think it is fair for him to raise this question.

    • I agree, but don't say nearly three months when it has been less than two months.

  • Spurr is a scam. I ordered something back in June. No status updates, product never arrived, nothing.

    Multiple emails and messages to their website contact form - not a single reply. No phone number to contact.

    Read many others online with the same issue. Never going to order from them again.

  • Now that is some helpful info from the members.
    With this you can call consumer affairs in VIC. If he has done it more than once consumer affairs would be interested. May be also provide links to other complaints on the internet too to get their interest. As a sole trader he will be personally liable.
    Meanwhile if you paid by credit card see if you can initiate charge back or have protection from internet fraud.

    • Logged a complaint to consumer Vic, last week, nothing seem to happen yet. :/

      • Got a letter from victorian consumer affairs, said that they can not do anything, wtf? they only record it for future referent!

        • After show them this google search "spurr.com.au scam", this thread come out on top search result, they refund me immediately!!! my conclusion is Internet > Goverment in this case!!!

  • I also purchased the same item and didn't get it when contacted them, said they need my bank details to deposit the money this was almost a month ago but didn't happen. Complained to Consumer affairs waiting for them to respond. Please some let me know how to get the money back. Is there anyway i can spread the news as these company is spam.

  • I received paypal refunds for my deals after complaining. They did not even respond. I like paypal with a credit card because the dispute is quicker to process from my end and I can always fall back to the cc company of paypal doesn't do the right thing.
