Skoda Cars - How are they?

Hi Guys,

Still deciding on the car and came across Skoda FABIA, Skoda Karoq, and Skoda KAMIQ.

What are your thoughts on SKODA's in general?

Any suggestions will be highly appreciated.

Cheers.

kia.. dont do that.. so many videos about engine issues floating around

skoda is literally vw .. probably comes out of the same factory .. just rebranded ..

i dont understand how people are waiting 7 months for a car .. some 24 months, thats just obsurd.

if i see a car, and i want it, ill collect it next week, in 24 months, you are possibly jobless? dead? broke? a millionaire now wanting rolls royce? lost interest?

      Yes, you are right.
I am waiting over 9 months for the car. Still no ETA.

My 2015 Skoda Octavia was the best car I'd ever had, and remained that way until I got my 2018 Skoda Octavia. I would pick a Skoda over Hyundai, Kia, Ford, Holden and Mazda - but have not tried any other brands of cars.

  • No new.topics?

Busy test driving the entire Skoda range..

  • Good until the current Gen which I understand suck. I have last gen manual pov pack Octavia wagon. It's been…. "superb"

  • Lol if you're now looking at Skoda, you should check out Renault too - they sell more believe it or not. Can get some real bargains in stock with low kms. The XJB Captur if you want something nippy, the Arkana for something larger that can run on 91 (same engine different tune, shared with the Mercedes A/B Class, GLA, GLB). Worth test driving one.

Bought a 2022 Kodiaq, have been driving it for a year, including driving from Sydney to Perth. Included service plan and 7 year warranty. Probably the best car I have owned. Considered the Rav4, Forester, CX5, Tiguan, Sportage and really glad I went for the Kodiaq.

  • Had a Skoda 2012 - great car, no issues whatsoever and think it was one of the best cars I've had. (I've owned many)

    Would happily get another.
