Anyone Else Experienced Odd Things with The Amazon App This Morning?

My Amazon app (Android) prompted me to login again this morning. The layout has changed significantly and gift cards won't redeem, my order history is also totally blank.

Is anyone else having issues? Seems suspicious.

    Just because an individual considers themselves 'unhackable' doesn't mean they are or that any hack that they get pinged by, was sophisticated. In fact plenty of 'smart' ppl get burnt by simple hacks in a 'momentary lapse of reason'.

    • You're not wrong, thankfully it seems I'm not the only one affected.

      I'm very security conscious and monitor for events of any kind (hence the post this morning).

      And anyone can be subject to a hack, even people in the industry (which has happened a few times recently)

  • No issues with login or GC, layout seems unchanged.

    Can scroll recent orders but the order history is blank.

    Happened to me in the morning when checking late delivery on Android version (reinstalled the app and it is still same on version 26.18.4.100), it asked me to login and my order history is also totally blank. I was so sleepy and thought I was hacked and panicked. Browser version on PC works as usual. Later found that there is a new place to check order history on app (1st icon from right -> orders) and it is working, but not the second icon from left as usual.

  • yes, happened to me yesterday and i changed the country to aus (was blank) seemed to fix the issue

    I had the same issue this morning. Got a notification from Auspost that a package was arriving and if they could leave it in a safe place, I was away from the pc, so I tried to log into Amazon app to check which package was coming today, but experienced the same thing as you, it was like it picked up my US amazon account and not the Aus one, kept asking me to log in and the orders page was blank.

    Just checked now and it's all back to normal.

      yeah, I saw the US flag as well.

  • Looks like some of us, myself included got chucked onto US settings.

    Had all the symptoms above, eventually fixed by clearing App cache, uninstalling & reinstalling, and logging into AU account.
