Does it come with an iPhone 5 connector ?

  • +1

    No it doesn't

    • oh well… good price for those who won't be upgrading then…

  • Hello Rep,

    I have googled….

Can you describe how dim I can make the clock display and do the backlit buttons dim with the display? I know I can turn the display off. Thanks.

      Maybe try the iHome website?

Zum, it's time to update your google-fu -> this was the first result when searching for "iHome ip90 dimmer":

the display is large, clear, and yes, dimmable across a broad range from "light up the room" to "off." Controls on the unit are also backlit, which makes for easier smacking of the correct buttons in the dark.

Other links on that google page point out there are 8 dimmer steppings and if you click through and watch the iHome youtube video, also on that search page, you will see when the guy presses the dimmer button the backlight keys dim in equivalent steppings as well. Anyway I have the same problem as you with ultra-bright alarm clocks so don't mind posting my findings here.

Damian, try the iHome website? Don't mean to sound rude as I don't know your specific role within dealfox, but insofar as we know you're a rep so with that comes the expectation that you perhaps could provide the answer?

Im the buyer for DealFox, point taken, next time I will provide more info.

      • WTF, I thought I was in the 50th percentile of google-fu. Demotes self to white belt with training wheels.

Thanks for Googling that for me. I think I'll buy one…

        • No probs. I'm thinking will grab one too. Great price for the features. Not too worried about the new adaptor because well not getting an iphone 5 yet and still have lots of 30 pin dock connector iThings. Worst case can always buy the convertor when it starts getting pumped out en masse for a few dollars from our friends over in China.

Edit: It's sold out :O In true ozbargain style, snooze you loose. Oh well great deal Damian, thx.

  • Good price for people not upgrading to iPhone 5 anytime soon. But also note that there will be lots more of these 'clearance' sales for products with the old iphone plug, making way for the new plugged products.

    • And there are always adaptors to keep the dock current.

      • the adaptor may only work for charging though… no guarantee it will support audio or video.

        • Or be stable/sturdy enough to hold the device up when standing in the dock.

        • As per the Apple website: This adapter lets you connect devices with a Lightning connector to many of your 30-pin accessories.* Support for analog audio output, USB audio, as well as syncing and charging. Video output not supported.
So in this case the adaptor would be fine to keep it current.

          thanks…

just need to find some mini-stabilisers then…

  • Bought 2 of em'

    thnx.

  • Been waiting for the price to drop for a while…ordered one, thanks :D

  • These are top quality alarm docks. Nice price.

  • sold out :(

    • +1

phew, glad I got mine on time… I reckon there will be a lot more sales as stores try to get rid of their old stock. What's the bet there will be many ozbargainers with multiple speaker/docks :D

  • Not happy Jan!! I paid $79 for the IP90 two weeks ago on Dealfox!!

  • Anyone having any issues with their speaker dock? I'm finding that I have to dock my iphone 4 at a specific angle (takes a few goes) and once it's docked I have issues with it disconnecting ramdonly so I have to re-dock it.

I'm hoping there is a fix for this as I doubt I can get a replacement (considering that all have been sold).
