Does anyone know if Uber One subscriptions carry over internationally, or if the subscription is region specific? I.e. only works in Australia

    • Don't think they do. I used my Aus account/subscription in Japan and didn't give me any of the benefits. Mind you delivery is very cheap over there anyway (50 yen average).

    • Couldn't even use my Uber account in UK

I get hmmm something went wrong

  • Tried to stack with paypal one but getting below error

    Hmm, something went wrong…
Try again or contact support in the Help section.

  • If I activate the PayPal one (until March), can I add the MasterCard offer today too?

  • Hmmm… Deliveroo ran something like this

  • Just claimed the Paypal 6 months free trail offer till March.

Then I linked my CBA plantinum debit Mastercard to Uber Wallet

but cannot claim the 6 months membership with information:

Unfortunately, that payment method isn't eligible for this Uber One offer.

  • Can't stack the CommBank one but managed to stack Paypal+Westpac 4 months. So 10 months free Uber1 in total. Thanks OP

  • Thanks op. It stacked on PayPal deal

    • How did you get this deal stacked on PayPal? Mine says Hmm, something went wrong…

      • I didn't do anything special, it stacked by itself. It says it will start the offer once pay pal one ends

  • why? Hmm, something went wrong…

  • Already activated the paypal offer, couldn't get this one to work with 4 different mastercards

  • @hiaaron @amorn If you have a Westpac Mastercard, add the card first to 'Payment methods'. (I now have both PayPal and Westpac added)

Then click on one of the Westpac links either 6 or 4 months and it will add the 6 or 4 months to the PayPal one.

Mine says '4 months free from Mastercard starts on 27 Feb 2024'

The CBA offer didn't stack for everyone. Hopefully the Westpac one works

    • Thanks. does CBA work without stacking? how?

      • I don't have CBA. Try adding CBA Mastercard to payment methods, then click OP's link above

  • Even with uber pass i find uber more expensive than didi with normal price.

If you were wondering if you could cancel the renewal straight away, the answer is no:

If you’re on a free trial of Uber One and cancel your membership, then your membership benefits will end upon cancellation. For all other memberships, you’ll have access to your membership benefits until the end of the current billing period.

  • That offer is only valid in select locations…

Apparently not available to everyone - located in Victoria

    • Can't you just add a temporary delivery address elsewhere and redeem?

    • Just had same issue

  • Accepted the PayPal offer for 6 months Uber Eats One for free yesterday. This morning tried to stack with my CBA Platinum Mastercard credit card, however, it first said “Hmm, something went wrong…
Try again or contact support in the Help section.”

Afterwards, I tried to put in the credit card details for payment and proceeded on, it says “Unfortunately, that payment method isn't eligible for this Uber One offer.”

    • Not sure why some people are getting the "Something went wrong" error message just opening the link, I've had a few people say the same in irl and in here, and they're all on the paypal deal too.

If you're currently on the paypal trial then you need to pay with paypal rather than credit card to take advantage of it. If you don't want to use paypal, you can get uber gift cards from various sources like shopback, prezzee, cashrewards etc

  • Worked for me with Paypal already subscribed.Got a message telling me the offer till begin in Feb, when my current offer expires

  • Looks like commbank link broken.

Hmm something went wrong, try again or contact support

    • The two CBA links from OP are working on my mobile

      • What links are you talking about? There’s only one CBA link.

        • One link in OP's description (start of sentence) and another link 'Go to Deal' under the image on the top right hand side

    • It works in incognito or if you are not logged into uber eats. I think issue is with the uber eats account you are logged in on.

      • Fresh account with the PayPal offer applied…

      • but then you need to sign in anyway, which still gives the error :/

        • +1

Yep, which is why I think the issue is the account and not the website.

Some accounts will work perfectly fine while another will get that error. I haven't been able to deduce what is causing it, might need to talk to Uber CS to find out.

  • Still getting "Hmm, something went wrong…
Try again or contact support in the Help section"

Have PayPal offer already applied but tried on both mobile and desktop, logged in and out and Incognito…

  • Can't use revolut virtual card! Not sure what's the point of revolut card anymore…

  • Can't seem to stack with the Paypal offer anymore.

  • Latitude card works?

  • I'm getting a "Ineligible payment method" even though I have a westpac Altitude Platinum credit card :(

  • Had the same ""Hmm, something went wrong…" error with this CommBank MasterCard offer.

Ended up quickly signing up for a Westpac debit card and using the instant digital card for the 4 month offer.

Now on 10 months of free Uber One. Thanks OzB!

  • I'm getting the same error with the Commbank link(s). Maybe open a new Westpac account?

  • got this with my premier citi mastercard

  • That would be right i got an email saying that Citi had an offer so I redeemed it, didnt realise that you have to pay with the card that redeemed the offer to use the uber one benefit. The last free offer i got i could use whatever payment i wanted in my account either paypal or zip through google pay.

I dont want to use the citi card as its currently on interest free so any purchases will attract interest straight away… I tried swapping to my CBA master and could update the uber one but going to pay wouldnt honour the membership. Just cancelled it cause i want to remove the citi card and it still says 6 months membership so im cactus for a while i think

    • @Tready hi want to know your opinion on this so i have 2 offers stacks

      Uber One
6 months free trial thanks to PayPal until Saturday, 17 February, 2024
6 months free from Mastercard starts on 17 Feb, 2024

do you mean from 17 Feb i have to use my Citi MasterC to pay? so now i have 2 payments method paypal and citi cc, can i just remove the citi card next week? will i lost the 6 months free start from 17 Feb?

  • mind if I ask what does everyone get from uber when you have uber one? i got restaurants and take aways downstairs, it seem ubereats price is higher.. It seems it's cheaper to get the food straight from the shops.. sorry if I'm missing something here.. and thanks in advance for answering me :D

  • Hmmm looks like the commbank link still isn’t working…

    • Anyone had any luck?

    • +1

Does it work for you opening the link incognito?

      • Weird.. I tried it on my mobile and was fine… desktop not so much

  • Anyone got any Uber One offers since joining? I haven't seen any on my side.

  • Seems like they have fixed the "Hmm, something went wrong…" issue and it's now working again, it also stack with the other PayPal free trial that I activate and cancel last month (I also did the Mastercard one from last year but it doesn't seem like it mattered):

"6 months free from Mastercard starts on 23 Mar, 2024"

  • Thanks op, used CBA Mastercard and stacked with previous paypal deal.

  • Nice, 6 months free after PayPal ends in Feb. Activated, and in app says "6 months free from Mastercard starts on 17 Feb 2024". That's 12 months free. Wowzer

  • Can you do paypal + commbank + westpac stacking?

    • No. Both commbank and westpac are mastercard deal and won't stack.

  • +1

    to stack with paypal:
    - redeem the 6 months free with paypal
    - cancel paypal renewing
    - THEN redeem the 6 months free with mastercard
    - cancel mastercard renew ONLY when mastercard period starts

    • You don't need to cancel paypal renewing, just redeem paypal and then mastercard deal back to back and it will work.

      • for my case yes you do. without cancelling it, it said something like "you currently have an active subscription". i cancelled the subscription, (renewal date/notice gone) and then could stack the mastercard one with no issues with the renewal date/notice back there. im assuming you can only stack on when you don't have an active subscription/due renewal, or at least thats the case for me.

      Thanks, this worked for me!

  • If it helps anyone, I was able to stack onto PayPal's offer just now for a further four months with a Bankwest Mastercard, so it's possible they've expanded the eligiblity of cards (it did not work for me previously - I just randomly tried again today).

  • I get the same error with my westpac plat - Unfortunately, that payment method isn't eligible for this Uber One offer. =/

  • Stacked w/ GC + MasterCard yellow 10 dollars cashback.

  • also stacks with the previous mastercard deal

  • does not work with my coles platinum mastercard

  • After the paypal offer ends, the 6 months and 4 months offer also stacks together.

  • I suspect it's not possible but if I don't have a mastercard, is there a way to sign up for one to receive this deal by tonight?

  • Thanks, caught this in the deals expiring soon! My paypal deal ends in two weeks, this stacked on :)

  • Still working for me
