They also had a green dialled version on sale: https://www.davidjones.com/product/seiko-prospex-solar-diver…

Seems like a pretty good price for these - just add them to cart for the further 20% discount to apply.

  • Prefer the green one but unsure if its coppnig the same double sale. Great design which I cant say about all seiko but this is one of their best imo.

I just cant rock 45mm watches. Shame.

Lug to lug matters more than the diameter of the watch. The Sumo has a fairly small lug to lug with respect to its diameter. The down side though is that is is quite a chunky watch

I have small wrists and a sumo on a crafter blue rubber strap is the best combo for it. Suits my wrist fine and is so much more wearable than the bracelet because it wears much smaller. The seiko bracelets are also crappy and make the watch very top heavy. Crafter blue straps are on the pricier side but they are excellent

      • I have noticed my chrono panda is a bit top heavy. Bracelet lools nice, but its a little tinny.

Not sure how it would look with a leather strap.

Thanks, grabbed a strap I've previously eyed off that also happened to be on special!

      • Agree lug -lug is the important dimension, but the sumo is still a big watch. I also look at thickness and weight but depends what you want

You could upgrade the clasp, getting these aren't milled or anything (should be for $1200) but Seiko is known for such cost cutting. It would balance the weight better.
