      Super late reply but they're built really poorly and Ive had the pen explode ink on me before

  This is a bad deal because these items (as are most "J.Burrows" products) are awful.

  I buy these in blue pretty regularly as classroom supplies and I don't think that they're ever that much more than this. The appeal has always been that they're a fraction of a dollar per pen so it doesn't matter much if students take them with them at the end of class.
