Looks like it'd last about 5 seconds before it self destructs

    • Had one for a couple of years, no issues

  • Impact number

For $30 shipped @ a claimed 520Nm is it worth a shot for shits n giggles?

    Standard bolt M16

Do they mean the head of the bolt? LOL

    • -1

M16 is thread size, which is usually 24mm nut size.

  • +1 please. I'm a real nutter.

Don't do it!!!!! I bought a cheap knock off from them and it's the most useless pile of landfill. Ironically I then bought a Makita and it just works.

You pay for what you get.

If you want cheap knockoffs, just go to Bunnings and get the cheapest drill you can find, (usually an ozito or xu1).

Atleast there Bunnings will replace it when it dies after the first use. But also those drills actually meet some sort of safety standard.

In the end though, if you want a drill that's going to last, buy genuine from anyone of the big companies (DeWalt, Bosch, Makita, Milwaukee, AEG etc). If paying the genuine tax doesn't suite your ozbargain itch, then do the math of years of usage per $, then you will see it's cheaper to get genuine.

Any non-genuine IV wasted my money on has died within a day of heavy use, or a year of light use.

My Makita stuff, bought 10+ years ago, use medium to heavy use and still runs like it's new with no sign of slowing down.
