I know which one i'll go to. Thanks.

      • free delivery hard to beat

  • Almost $90 RRP?!? Shameless that the oil companies think that's a reasonable price to be advertising at.
Surely no one is actually buying it at those prices.

The "half price" sales are rubbish… $44 was what the normal price not more than a couple years ago, and getting down to low $30's on actual sale.

I think those kind on price level would be rare or gone nowadays with the rise cost of living and pretty much all items being sold in the market.

    • agree, and i think there will be no more $30 sale price for this castrol edge.

I do share your sentiment, however crude oil price has more than doubled from its lowest point in 2019 to 2023, plus taking into account increased costs of refinery + shipping.

You can thank the Saudis and the Yanks for the price hike…

Unfortunately the end consumer are the pawns in this whole game.

      • I imagine the likes of SCA are also adding on their extra bit to take advantage under the guise of inflation, as the supermarkets have done with their recent record profits despite high inflation.
Its a shame neither side of government would do anything like set up an anti gouging watchdog.

        • Possibly, hard to say, however it won't be much.

Supercheap just pass on the cost of production onto consumers and they'll try claw the same margin back. I'd imagine they try shift more drums in order to get the kickbacks from the oil companies so increasing their cut in such an inflated market might not be in their best interest.

  • I notice that their ebay store does not offer click and collect from store again ?
