    Minimum of 4 payment cycles

So correct me if I'm wrong, it appears the cheapest payment cycle is $44.00 per week.
Not really free then is it.

      • There is no charge on the first one at checkout, so if you cancel before the following shipment there shouldn't be any payment.

Hmm sounds like a maybe it will maybe it won't sort of situation. I think I'll pass.

  • +1

It says minimum of 4 payments cycle though

    • -2

So what's the reason for your negative vote?

      • It's a misleading promotion

        • -2

          How so?
OP may not have included all details in the deal description, but it's all there on the website.

  • +3

This will quickly end that promotion if you can cancel that easily :)

  • Anyone tried their beans?

    • +1

Im trying their signature beans right now. They are nice, and versatile, a good rich standard sort of flavour, not fruity for example. Not sure how else to describe. I wouldn't rush to buy them again, maybe if they were on special, but their shipping costs are pretty extreme too.

4 full priced kilos of coffee isn't worth one free kg

  • +1

Promo code brings it to free at checkout + free delivery. I'll see if I get the first one and then will cancel.

    • +1

      Minimum of 4 payment cycles.

      • No money taken. Yet.

        • +1

They may debit money when they ship first bag

          • +1

@rrrrrrein: Not if the card has no funds.

            • @jv: Some bank accounts may deduct and allow -ve balance thou.
Legally they are entitled to charge you or recover cost!! Same like when give credit cards for security deposit at some venues..

                @huntabargain:

Some bank accounts may deduct and allow -ve balance thou.

Can't do that to pre-paid credit cards.

            • +1

              @jv:

Not if the card has no funds.

Promoting defrauding small businesses by using a prepaid card with no funds. Gold standard JV.

For someone who doesn't want people to lose income from a public holiday (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/comment/14340669/redir) seems completely "On Brand" for you to make such comments.

              • @SBOB:

Promoting defrauding small businesses by using a prepaid card with no funds.

It's not fraud if there were funds, and then they ran out.

                It is just absent mindedness.

                • +1

@jv: It seems some people are ok with businesses making misleading comments like

How to claim your free bag.

but you're scum if you use a card with no funds, go figure.

          • @rrrrrrein: Dont think they can, if you choose the cycle as monthly they shouldn't charge you until at least end of the month. Not to mention they ostensibly have this money back guarantee thing.

          Not worth the risk

    Subscriptions Policy

When you purchase a subscription you'll receive repeat deliveries. These are based on the subscription duration and frequency that you select.

Your payment details will be stored securely and you'll be charged for each of these deliveries, unless you choose to pay in advance.

Some subscriptions may auto-renew at the end of their duration. If you don’t want to renew a subscription you can cancel it.

If you want to cancel or change your subscription, you can do it at any time (if stated in your original contract). Your order confirmation emails have links to your order. You can manage your subscription from there.

See our returns policy for more details on returns and refunds

  • +3

Under Subscription detail, "Skip, reschedule, edit, or cancel deliveries after 4 payment cycles, based on your needs."
It looks like the first 4 cycles will be locked once ordered without being able to change or cancel the subscription.

  • +3

What could possibly go wrong here

  • +2

HOW TO GET YOUR FIRST BAG FREE
First bag free for all subscriptions on minimum 4 order cycles.

  • +1

Imo you will sell way more coffee with a good price 1kg rather than any subscription offer.

  • i tried
    its a scam
got refunded after placing the order…they are just after more clicks on website or email ID'S or subscriptions. stay clear

    • How did you get the refund? The free bag is free anyway so no payment.

      • Probably he followed JV advice by providing debit card with no fund!!!
