How to withdraw money from Citi Prepaid Card - Oral B promo

I finally activated my prepaid credit cards. Got $50 instead of $30. Does anyone know how to withdraw money from these.

  • if you read the t&cs it says you can withdraw $50 all in one go from any citibank atm. not the case for $30 cards.

    • I read that but i was wondering if it's going to ask for a pin number as these one don't have pins.

      • when i rang up to activate my card, the support guy told me the pin was the last 4 digits of my card number. but i never tested. if you ring them they should be able to help you

        • i'll give it a go. Thanks

  • I think it's a prepaid giftcard, not an ATM card so you can only use it to pay for goods or services where a MC is accepted. Maybe you could buy something cheap and get the rest as cash out?

    • no, the card is issued by citibank and for the $50 gift cards only they let you withdraw the full $50 from a citibank atm.

      • Are there many Citibank ATMs though? I believe they use other banks' ATMs to save running their own network. IIRC Westpac, St George and other banks have an agreement with Citibank to provide free transactions on their machines. Would those also work for this card? Anyway keep an eye on the ATM screen and cancel if it intends to charge you $1.50 or $2.00 or whatever it is now.

  • +1

you could withdraw from a st george and/or westpac ATMs as well- without trasaction fees. worked for me.
