Answer should be " it's not a motorcycle baby its a Chopper"

        GET TO DA CHOPPA

    • Question should be "Where did you get this motorcycle?"

Does anyone know if I could potentially use this vacuum to remove the sand in my pool's sand filter?

    • It has a 60 day satisfaction guarantee.

      • Oh I thought it might come with a 60 days satissuction guarantee?

    • +2

I bought a 2nd hand industrial 90L works really well but it is a bit over kill. Pretty sure this one should work well for this purpose. If the sand is wet you might consider place an extra board or something to block water from flying directly into the motor.
I actually moved the sand into a big wheelbarrow, washed away most dirt and then put the cleaned sand back to the filter and reuse to save the mass of dumping sand. Been more than a year, so far so good.

      • Thanks for this information. I was thinking to remove the sand and replace it with the glass filter material.

        • +1

Mins was already glass material. It is quite easy to tell it is cleaned when pieces become shiny again. Will be be a small amount lost when moving just buy a small bag to top up.

It's sand, distribute it across gardens.

  • Is their drywall sander any good?

    • Bunnings usually price match with this one and it’s great

      • Thanks mate.

  • What do people think about their paint sprayer? Is it going to be decent?

  • Has anybody used this as a carpet water extractor?

  • +3

Tempting, though 1.5m hose seems rather short. Anyone know if you can buy longer hoses to replace the default hose ?

    This deal sucks

    • Knew someone would say that!

Vacuum Extractor Attachment Clear Vacuum Extraction Nozzle Kit Car Detailing Vacuum Head Wand Tool Wet and Dry Vacuum Cleaner Extractor Connector Head for Vacuum Cleaner (Large Nozzle) https://amzn.asia/d/3BqgVgw

Not to mention its cheap 😎

  • Anyone know where to buy extra filters for the vac?

  • I'd go a Ryobi wet and dry vacuum for $119

    https://www.bunnings.com.au/ryobi-20l-stainless-steel-wet-dr…

Grated it's double the price, but Bags are sold cheap on eBay. $28.90 for 10.

At least the Ryobi has a solid warranty that can be exchanged at Bunnings if its faulty. My Ryobi gets a beating from vacuuming the cars and the garage floor. I picked up a ferrex pressure washer and it's horrible quality and sounds like it's going to die after 5 months of light usage. I regret buying it.

Why do they never include any practical car attachments? I want a shop vac for the car

  • Just a heads up, if this is the same model as about a year or two ago, its freakin loud and has an ear piercing whine. We have been using it as a shop vac in the garage, attached to some woodworking gear and it does the job. Also used it to vacuum stuff off the bottom of the hot tub. Hasn't missed a beat. Do wish the hose was longer though.

    • When I was walking out of my local ALDI yesterday I was amazed at the amount of recall notices they had on their products - I think I saw a Ferrex shop vac notice on there.

Nvm: Found it - it's a smaller plastic model.

      • Some have been for things like containing small batteries. Though that one is definitely worth a recall
