That is because D5100 rival is those like 550D/600D/etc. Canon 60D is one step above D5100.

Thats the trouble with a lot of dslrs… some are better at video than others while some are better at photos.
I'm after the best photo quality primarily… video secondary.

Why oh why do the D5100's video features have to be so much more clunky than the 60D? If it wasn't for that, this would be my new camera. The stills on this thing are fantastic.
