Spotted another Amazon box set bargain. It seems like this DVD box set of Dexter Season 1-5 has dropped to it's lowest price ever on Amazon UK and is featured in the Deals of the Week. Works out to be $43.56 delivered.

JB prices currently for Dexter on DVD are $34.99 each for S1, S3 and S4, $18.99 for S2, and $38.99 for S5. This deal equates to $8.70 per season so seems like a bargain priced way of catching up before the new season starts on 30 September - yeah!

      It is listed as Region 2, so technically won't play on a PS3. I checked on eBay and there are sellers listing this same box set as region 2/4 so perhaps it also has region 4 coding, this is quite common for UK DVD's. For an example have a look at this eBay listing:

        I have a slim PS3 160gb and i can tell you all region 1 and 2 DVDs i have play on it fine. It even plays multi regional blu-ray discs. So with the slim PS3 there shouldn't be a problem. I think it was only the original fat PS3 that couldn't play multi region discs.

      got all excited then realised it was DVD… will wait for the blu ray version to come out … have they said how many more seasons are to come?

        I think I read somewhere Michael C Hall has signed on for two more seasons.
