This is rewards, not opt-ins so be careful. GCs take ~15 minutes to track, combined with the low reward count means you're taking a chance.

    He's on holiday atm, I imagine it's also a case of things taking time to implement for a big company. They have done opt-ins in the past though so who really knows.

    In future, challenges that are likely to be fully redeemed quickly such as this one will be limited via Opt-In as opposed to Redemption to avoid this.

      The way he worded it it sounded like it’s a sure thing, this happening again before they implement Opt-in is just not good enuf. Do u think humans learn from mistakes? If not limited to Opt-in fosho many will cry miss out again, dejavu

    The link has been updated so click it and read up. Essentially you need an eligible Westpac card, have it added it to the app and need to pay for the GC with it.

      I think at one point @gotyourback or Shopback will just have to change to opt-in option like Cashrewards otherwise it will be an administrative nightmare to keep putting manual cashback.

        That would be the sensible thing to do. It doesn't seem fair if their system can't update the number of redemptions in real time and it shows the challenge to be still active when we make the purchase.

  Queued last night, bought when there was plenty available but missed the bonus $5! Westpac lounge was the main reason I have kept my card with westpac. I guess it is not now and time to retire that card.
