      Parts of it are easy but some parts aren't, was thinking of doing it DIY aswell but ended up getting bunnings to do it

          we ended up price-beating a store to get a set of AC's and the installation with Bunnings was cheaper than what I was getting quoted everywhere else.
          Although the Good Guys might be cheaper than Bunning but you have to buy from them to access their exclusive installation prices.

      You can’t legally install a split system unless you are a licenced electrician with a refrigerant handling licence.
