  • Is there a way to cash out without having to pay lots in fees or using crypto?

    • Cash out to your bank account?

      • That has fees involved, almost a dollar. Which defeats the purpose

        • Really… I didn't incur any fees when I cashed out .

          • @randomusername2017: Interesting. Maybe the rep can answer.

          • @randomusername2017: There are no bank fees for the first 25 days.
After that, there is a fee that covers the cost of moving the coins to the exchange for conversion into AUD.
However, if you choose to transfer your coins to Coinbase, there is no fee as this is an offchain transaction.

            • @TeamShping: Can you please provide a quick list of the steps required to "… transfer your coins to Coinbase", for peeps (like me) who have never used coinbase.

              • @GnarlyKnuckles: You will need to register an account with Coinbase.
Once complete, simply hit the "my details" tab in the profile page of the Shping app, scroll down to "accounts" and connect your Coinbase account.
From there, you can select "coinbase" when withdrawing, and it will send your coins to your Coinbase wallet within minutes, at no cost.

                • @TeamShping: Am I right that as well as registering an account with CoinBase, I then also need to create a CoinBase Wallet' using a different App … and that to do that I need to 'fund' the wallet; i.e. register the details of a credit card or debt card with them, and 'load' a minimum of $5 into that CoinBase wallet? Because I can't see a way of doing it without doing all that.

Also, if I do all that can I transfer as many 'Shping coins' as I want to the CoinBase wallet, or are such transfers also restricted to the current withdrawal limit of $20 'worth' per month?

                  • @GnarlyKnuckles: No, you won't need to create a "Coinbase Wallet", you can use the "wallet" inside the exchange on the Coinbase app.

The withdrawal limit still applies regardless of Coinbase or AUD transfers.

  • Can I request that you add in coins received from a receipt when you go into my receipts. The only way I can see doing it currently is scrolling through the home tab news feed and even then you can't link a specific receipt to the coins. It's just on time ago points received.

    • That's a great idea, I will add it to our list! Thanks

The lamington flavoured mars bar is super sweet, tastes like they mixed a bounty into the nougat :P

Didn't know this was a thing

      • I think they're only new, on sale for $1.10 at Woolies this week (next Tuesday last day of sale price)

Also another issue I discovered in the past is that even though I have boosted the right products before I make the purchase, some products won't get recognized so I would not get the bonus points, funny thing is my partner bought the same thing and hers all got recognized. Is there a channel for dispute?

    • Seem to recall there was an option to manually scan unidentified items on receipts.
Amazing it can't recognize 90% of items from a directly imported EDR digital receipt.

  • Your "as seen on" doesn't speak to a trusted company…. Sunrise…. Today…. Australian TV

    • Sorry I'm not following, why not?

      • As @randomusername2017 said, better then ACA. Most everyday people know not to trust things they see on those morning shows as they are either paid or BS.

    • Better than ACA I guess ..
