      If you can find s7 maxv ultra with drying module with the same price, s7 but I doubt you can find it

      MaxV has better object detection/avoidance and bigger water tank, but this has better other things (e.g. mop rise, spinning mops). Sounds like basically a wash overall.

      Also the 7 Max is better than the MaxV IIUC, and was cheaper recently at Catch.

    personally i went for the dreame L20 ultra (at a premium)… would have seriously considered the roborock p10 pro if it was available in AU any time soon but there was no sign of it being released in AU any time soon.

      Watch some reviews. I got the S8 + after having an S5+. The cleaning and object avoidance is a MASSIVE leap, I'm not constantly having to fix it or pull shoelaces out of it. I did see a video that the 7 Maxv is slightly better on flat/hard surfaces, so I kinda wish I got that instead.

      S8 pro ultra is just an S8 with a fancy dock station that cleans and reffils water/sucks dust. S8 + just sucks the dust. The S8 is just the charger.

      Price wise I think $1,699 is the equal cheapest that it's been since release, matching Roborock's father's day sale. Outside of that I have seen it at $1,799 a couple of times.
      Value wise the Q Revo seems to compare favourably to the S7 Max Ultra and S8 Pro Ultra, all three having positives and negatives, while being cheaper. Do check reviews on your floor type though because I think each of those vacuums are better at different floor types (carpet, wood, cement, rugs, etc.)

    I have the Roborock S7+ at holiday house, Dreame L10s Ultra at home and pre-ordered the Dreame L20 Ultra.

    The Dreame L10S kills the Roborock due to the rotating rear mops but because we have 3 Australian Shephard dogs that love getting dirrty, found that while the L10S was better, it left dirty streaks around the edges.

    The L20 Ultra has the swinging mop that will get within 2mm of the edge so should get rid of the dirty edge strips.

    I've also found 2 different types of Roborock main rollers that are a combination of rubber and bristle brush, one has 2 softer rows of bristles, the other has 3 firmer rows of bristles and this one is far superior for picking up PET FUR, the main downside of all rubber main rollers.

        Hi,

        It's a comfortable 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom with extra toilet room house, nothing like most of the houses in the Lady Bay Links golf course at Normanville, SA.

        Originally purchased Roborock S7+ on special @ $950, Dreame L10s Ultra on special at $1150 and L20 Ultra at pre-order, all thanks to OzBargain member posts.

        I wouldn't even consider a robo vac/mop now without rotating mops, the Roborock S7+ rear mop even though it vibrates, leaves streaks because of the dirt our dogs bring inside.

        I have set a number of schedules and areas that show dirty dog foot prints get vacuum/mopped every day.

          That's a very good price for Dreame L10s Ultra. My limit for a vacuum is around $1200, so I'll keep looking.

    i've had the revo q for about 3 months now.. got it for this price via JB.
    i have a fairly large single level house with a lot of floorboards so i chose the reva q over max pro, roomba and dreame.
    whilst i can't compare the mopping to those models, the reviews suggested the revo is the the best at that with the circular mopping pads.
    all the components are easy to clean, but do need some maintenance.
    i'd say over the 3 months i've had it, these are the following things i've had to maintain with it.
    - about once a week i'm cleaning out the dust bin on the dock as its jammed (this is mainly because i have a dog and also a thick woolen rug that seems to dislike the reva).
    - i've twice remapped the house (about 20 mins of work) because the unit got confused.
    - it occasionally gets stuck between a chair or caught in a charging cable (the reviews did mention that its detection isnt as good as the s8)

    on the pro side, its been an amazing difference, the cleaning is excellent and i often just send it for a room clean with a 2x vac setting and its better then my dyson stick.
    the mopping is why i got it and it doesnt dissapoint - floors are shiny and the doc has a large clean and dirty water container so i usually maintain that once a week as well.
