    Anything good in VIC?

Harvey norman has one for 779 with $100 card

    • J series is probably better. These D series have a low energy rating.

    R410A

    • Unfortunately not being phased out in Australia until July 2024. So manufacturers can still sell items after that date as long as it's manufactured before then.

So you increased (aka. JACKED) the price by $100 from the $649 you had it for two days ago (3 Oct 2023 04:50:24 GMT), then offer a $100 discount?

How about offering a real bargain and not your standard price?

    • Oh dear that's actually illegal to do under Aus consumer law

  • +2

If anyone is chasing the 8.0kw and are located in Qld, then it's advertised for $1199 here

If you are in Victoria and chasing the 5.0kw, then it's $1031 here.

Alternate 5.0kW model using R32 is also $999

    • But the brand name Rinnai? Never heard of it, with high cost of installation isn’t it better to wait for a name brand deal? Bare minimum a haier if u don’t want to wait for Fujitsu

      • You're probably right. Why trust a company that has been around for over 100 years?
Haier will do the job fine.

    whats R410/R32?

    • +1

      The refrigerant it uses.
R410 is banned in Europe from this year, and in Australia from next year.

  • Does this require any special wiring? I believe the residential wire is rated for 10A ~ 2200W?

    • depends on the size (kW) of the unit.
