I'm a nearly 40 year guy and use Menulog at least once a week with my CommBank card and did not get this offer. I did however get 30% off womens handbags and shoes at Myer.
I would love to know how their system works when it comes to deciding who gets what offers.
Like Amex, they mostly won't target you if you're already spending certain service and old customer.
No idea. I’m actually new to commbank. I just started an account 6 months ago. Been with HSBC for over 30 years. I just use the commbank debit card for all recent purchases and bills during the last 6 months. But sometimes my partner, she seems to be getting better offers than me. She’s like you though. Been with commbank for ages.
I got the offer first with the low rate card, then closed the account.
Then reopened a debit account and got it again

would spending on the 'spend by …' day still qualify. my menulog transactions appear pending for days.
That’s fine. Even if it expires but you’ve already “spent it by” - the system will update.
I spent and transaction is complete, but with some refund as a separate transaction, due to no stock. the cashback offer still shows unclaimed ie. active. do you mean the cashback will countback to this spending after expiry date passes?

the fact the ofer is still active means the last spending didn't qualify SO better to spend another 20 to redeem the offer?
You can stack it with the 92HJ-89FR code, essentially becomes $20 off $30 spend.
Add $30 spend to your cart, the code brings it down to $20 and then you'll still be eligible for the $10 cashback.
