    Why? I thought these things were to correct a design problem with the iPhone4.
    Have they not fixed the antenna in the new model?

      1, bumper was released before apple address the iPhone4's antenna design problem.
      2, apple gave away free back case to iPhone4 buyer and trying to silent people what they did wrong.
      3, then iPhone4 users found that bumper also work to correct the antenna problem
      4. Apple did a tricky mobile signal "tune" on the iOS, which looks "fixed" the problem
      5. bumper becomes more popular and have more designs
      6. iPhone4s released and still have same issue…no one want to talk more about that as it is an old and boring topic….

    according to iPhone 5 users from whirlpool , apparently the edge and the back cover can be easily scratched even by fingernails, so Rep i suggest you do some deals for the full iPhone 5 back cases
